Title

Hey, I have a weird bug. Every time I start the chapter "this book belongs to", All text starts disappearing. I press escape to open the menu and there is no titles above the chapters, no text on the quit button and even the settings menu has no text anywhere, the buttons however are still there. I can't really progress from here without text and that's really sad, since it's right at the beginning. Please help!...

Even after doing the required actions, I am not able to earn the corresponding achievements!!!!! Halfway through the game and nothing is unlocked yet. what do I do???

I'd really want to go by this house because this game really changed my whole life and it's quite important to me

Playing on Mac. At around the Bog House scene, dialogue text stopped showing up. At that point, Menu text also stops showing up. During dialogue scenes all I see is the heads appearing alternately. Closing and restarting game didn't help.
