Just exit to main menu. Then click play again and it will be fixed.

Don't give the Anubis figurine to the skull at the graveyard, before you talked with it and have it demand his dog. If you do, you'll get stuck and have to restart the game.

Just an FYI for anyone that cannot finds this item. Fireplace hidden-object scene the second time has clue as "sheet of paper " but it is really the oak leaf. The other item is listed as "Wap", which turned out to be the "8 ball". I'm not sure if I am missing something, but there you go....

Old but still a nice game.
