I just downloaded the collection off Steam. I grew up on SQ4, so this series is a hit of nostalgia for me. Do I need to download patches, etc. to play these games properly, or will they run properly on modern(ish) computers as downloaded?

Did something happen to the New Rising Sun patch that fixes issues like the ComPost? It was available for years but now every link I find is dead. If someone knows where I can find a working link, please let me know.

I for the life of me cannot catch it with the rope. If I click it right before it's at rope I miss, over the rope I miss, passing the rope I miss. WTF do I do??

this has been an issue for me since before SQ6 made it to steam. I'm saddened to see its still there with Steam. anyone have a fix?
