Description
Hello,

this is the True Music Mod by iBrRus - some quick fixes for B42 have been made.
You can use this Version until the Original Mod by iBrRus gets updated to B42.
Im not the owner of this Mod! all credit goes to iBrRus!

! This version is only a bridge till iBrRus is back !

Features of the mod:
- item "Boombox" (powered by batteries)
- item "Pocket player" (powered by batteries)
- item "Vinyl player" (works only on electricity)
- all cars are equipped with a cassette player
- playing music lures zombies

spawnrates of casettes is done by your Truemusic Addon MOD. Not by this MOD.

no music inculded. For music you need True music addons!
Since im not the creator of this mod some feature might not work! (old way of creating your own playlist/music)

hey i see you have a bug that if boombox equip in primary then pamel still have deviceOption but can't use.

Hey, I noticed that you still have a mod.info file in the root folder of the mod which is what b41 accesses. It uses the same id as the original true music and it throws off addons since this only has files for b42. Would appreciate if you could delete it :)

This method can only be considered a temporary solution, as it only solves the normal generation of tapes and players. Players other than the car player still cannot be used normally. So we still need to wait for the update of the module body:steamfacepalm:

I got this to work by opening Contents/mods/42/media/scripts/TCTrueItems.txt .

1. replace every use of "Type" with "ItemType"
2. replace every use of "Normal" with "base:normal"
3. replace every use of "Radio" with "base:radio"

you will still need to use either the updated versions of the addon mods, or else open the addons script folder and find "TCGMusicScriptsTC..." boombox and/or Vinylplayer and repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

@scrappy coco is there any update on this mods status? Did the other guy want you to take it down? Are you planning on updating? Sorry to be a bother i just love this mod.
