The new Prey from Arkane doesn't have any connection to Human Head's Prey, it was just titled Prey so Bethesda could hold onto the IP

I've wondered the same thing, but I've had no luck finding a source. All I have is the gif in the catbox link (had to trim some frames to fit it on Steam)

Human Head's full staff is currently operating under another name as a Bethesda subsidiary, "Roundhouse Studios," but so far they haven't had any project announcements. Hopefully they've been allowed to work on something ambitious. Bethesda likes to own any studio competent with id Tech (id Software's engine), hopefully they'd want Roundhouse working on something which fully utilizes their talents.
For complicated reasons, other studios were unable to complete Prey 2 when it was handed to them. If we're super lucky, that's what Roundhouse is working on :claugh:
