I didn't know this game existed before it was put on steam, which makes sense considering I'm not a big visual novel person. So far, I've only played through Emi, Hanako and Lilly's routes, but I must say that this is one of the most beautiful and touching games I have ever played, period. Each character is incredibly compelling, and I always found myself wanting the best for them. The romance is very well paced and realistic, and I feel like these are real people and relationships that I'm watching, even though I know it's just a story. Katawa Shoujo brought out my emotions in ways I did not think a video game could, and I am generally not a very emotional person, so I feel like that's very telling of the story. This game has no doubt touched my heart, and I foresee many replays in my future. Please give it at least one play through. I promise you will not regret it.
