This game is easily the peak of Yakuza's beat em up combat system. The amount of options, air juggles, ground combos and wallbounce/bound combos are insane not to mention just the sheer amount of moves there are to use. This game takes the gameplay of the Yakuza series is known for and transforms it into something even better which is saying a lot because I've played and loved every game in the series outside of Isshin (Due to there being no english sub).

Story is also very good, presentation is up there with Like a Dragon and Yakuza 0 in terms of direction, characters and writing. On top of that it has a lot more of the goofy charm the Yakuza series is known for, the first Judgment game (which is also very much worth a playthrough) took itself slightly more seriously than the rest of the series but this game goes back to and fully embraces the goofy, wackiness of the mainline Yakuza series.

Side content in this one is super fleshed out and has some of the best presentation in the entire series, this game doesnt really have minigames so much as entirely fleshed out game modes. Theres skateboard competitions, Biker gang races where the goal is to knock the opponents gang off their bikes, and entire Fight Night style boxing game mode that genuinely fun and has some depth to it and thats just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to fun side stuff.

I actually have to give this game my seal as favourite game in the Yakuza franchise, it has the same if not slightly higher level of presentation, writing, characters and story as the other best games in the franchise (Yakuza 0, Like a Dragon and Kiwami 2) but it beats those other entries out with its incredibly deep combat system and genuinely well presented and consistently fun side content.

Its Yakuza but you're a detective that knows wing chun. Seriously though, the stories amazing, the characters are great and the Judgement games are the pinnacle of Yakuza's beat em up combat system.

This games a really fun and surprisingly deep fighting game with 51 characters and a unique assist for every single one there's a lot to play and learn. The game feels great and combos are super fun to learn and satisfying to land. As a Jojo's game its also amazingly faithful, Jojo's fans will love this whether they play fighting games or not.

The only issue with this game is it has no rollback netcode making competative online play not viable. I would only buy this game if you have people to play with offline on the couch and dont mind playing against cpu's between those couch sessions.

Bandai, please save this games lifespan and add rollback asap, its a truly great and fun fighting game based on a popular IP with all the mechanical elements needed for a healthy competitive fighting game scene to thrive, all it needs is rollback.

Great fighting game thats easily accessible but also has a high skill ceiling if you want to improve. Looks and feels amazing to play and all 16 launch characters are fun and unique from one another in both how they look and play. Fingers crossed for plenty of future characters, stages and music cause this game deserves the support and Id buy them in a heartbeat.

Amazing game, if you're a fromsoft veteran the new combat system will have a big learning curve but once you master it you'll find it to be the most technically involved and satisfying combat fromsoft has ever done. Up there as one of their best releases.

Not only one of the best first person shooters ever made but also one of the best survival horror and stealth games ever created. On top of that the game is based on a popular novel so the story is excellent and extremely engaging from start to finish. One of the few FPS games I've ever played where the story was a big draw to the point of the narrative being almost flawless. Highly recommend to anyone who's thinking about trying out this absolute classic for the first time.

This game is amazing and highly underappreciated in the Yakuza commuinity. Its got some of my favourite characters and possibly the best story of any Yakuza game. While its slightly dated (early PS3 era), a lot of the bad press comes from the broken quickstep that goes half the distance at 60FPS, this cannot be fixed on the console versions which has led to the game being labelled broken.
Fortunately we play on PC and can fix this issue with a single file that's less than 1MB, go look on the community page and find this fix before playing, there's also a mod that switches in-game models with highrez cutscene counterparts, recommend this too. Once you have these installed the game is very enjoyable.

Good game, like the rest of the Yakuza series I'd highly recommend. The fact that there are 4 playable characters and they're all fun is awesome.
