Recommended with CAUTION

Past the 1k hours I think it is probably time for a "serious" ish review of this 7 years old game.

Is it worth buying this game in 2020? Is it worth starting as a brand new player on this harsh battlefield that GTA5 mutated into?...

Yes and No, let me work on that

Lets just start with the bad and work our way to the good part.

First of, being on pc the encounter with a modder or cheater is inevitable, its just going to happen ALMOST everyday, the encounter with the so called "tryhard modder" (yes they do exist in this realm), the griefers that love to blow up everything they see has a RED sign on it (meaning your selling your business), the salty fake Chads that start insulting you because you drove too close to them, tempesting you with the only words they know being "CRY" "NooB" "you suck" quite the dictionary Id say... makes this game dig its own grave with a plastic shovel, that was broken and repaired with "only flextape" (i am not even sorry). And we only just started.

Grinding, oh boy, we all know RockSTA! logic is all about that "money money moneyyyy" are you low on moneyyyy GO GET A SHARK CARD GOOD SIR, that ll be 70 dollars, meaning that grinding was made as tedious as possible, I swear that the only thing they actually thought about on was "How do we make grinding "possible" but as boring as possible???!" As a result we got MC businesses you have to wait 6 ingame hrs, of your REAL LIFE TIME (what is life anyway?), Bunker 12 ingame hrs (DAMN boI he Thiccckkk) and crates which in theory, yes the return is HuGe (when X2 is insane), but the hrs you have to spend to grind 111 crates just makes me sleepy and bored and I hate it with all my heart.

Lets not talk about the low levels, crying as hard as they can for money drop "Is there a modder in session?" ahhh yeah my hears are bleeding (thx Epic games :D) -


However not all is bad in the game, lets be serious, this game is frecking awesome, poor or rich you can do absolutely anything: drive cars - bikes - boats - motorcicles - FAGGIO - tanks - airplanes - helicopters etc etc etc etccccccc.
Crazy enough not all players are toxic or want to murder you face if you just blink funny at them. Theres actually many good people, Ive actually established friendships with some of them, that to this day still persist. Do not be afraid to ask for help someone will eventually do it, and you might find a regular player you go back to play with many and many times.
Sometimes you have to think outside the box, there might be something you did not know you could do, but the world of GTA5 has many secrets that you need to discover, thats because rockstar doesnt tell you poop.
If you need money, in 2020 theres so many easy ways to get them, just google your heart out, might be hard at the beginning but it is easy to master it all, just dont take it too seriously, otherwise it just becomes a job and GTA is no job but a game.

Overall is a very good game with many many flaws, glitches / bugs but GTA5 is a not so hidden GEM that you might find intriguing at times, just have to faceplant the ground a coupple of times, you ll get the hang of it in no time.

Did I cover everything? holy NO, probably scratched the surface surface, but its always up to the gamers to learn truthfully a game, right????
