enjoyied the OG, love the updated graphics and the more modding friendly nature of it, looking forward to seeing what next for the game or what a modding community could do.

very good walking simulator, not so good hunting game. can't complain too much only cost a buck, however everything is behind infinite DLC paywalls

Don't play this game if you actually like to fish. ubisost hates players so they put in ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fishing "minigames"

very good game, however needs a bit of work. sometimes the geometry can be sticky, and need at least a toggle for Vsync in the settings. beyond that completing the game would be nice.

berry cozy game

I bought this hoping it would basically be like dawn of souls/ psp 20th anniversary edition. not in the mana verses spell per day kinda way but the "$16 and no shrines?"

also the ability to choose between spells per day and mana upon party creation would make a hell of a lot more sense. most people didn't play this title on the NES/SNES.

Also also the ability to change the BG color to something else other than blue and maybe a "dark mode" (basically every other port of FF1-6 has this)

other than that it's Final Fantasy 1 a classic, yes but not much is really remastered here. it even defaults to xbox button mappings, so to change that you have to mod the game.

IDK just seems like a lazy port of a game that defined an era, and when companies do that it screams cash grab. maybe it's the FF fanboys and whales who at fault for settling for something mediocre, maybe it's Square losing the vision of a beloved franchise, maybe both.... I'm just glad they didn't put micro transactions and mobile game style adds in it.
