I've enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It is worth the price, esp. if you get it on a sale. Some have compared this game to RimWorld. I do get the comparison. But it's also pretty different from RimWorld - especially with the creepy music, art style and general atmosphere. It also reminds me of other isometric 2D tactical/squad games, except it also has colony/base management and resource management aspects.

Also, it has more replayability than I expected. The map is randomized. Most events are random. There are 4 difficulty settings, plus some customization options like Sandbox and enabling Halloween content. Once you've beaten it, you can try again on a higher difficulty. And one of the biggest pluses, for me, is the assortment of mods on Steam Workshop to customize the experience.

As for cons: While the music is nice, it does get repetitive pretty quickly because there aren't many tracks. And I can see how the gameplay, itself, can feel repetitive after a while. There are only so many game events and, by mid-game, you've pretty much seen them all. Some of them may get a bit annoying. I'm trying to make mods to increase game event variety and, hopefully, change the music. But this is challenging as it's not all that mod-friendly and the dev seemed to stop support.
