This game is something special! The sprites are adorable and the art style is really cute and well done. It may look like another farming clone but its not! It is delightful and the story is unique and the game play is tailored towards interactivity instead of being grindy. I really like this game and would love to see future content and an expansion of the story. I loved this game so much and didnt want it to end! Definetly get it!

Really cute game from the demo! The placing of items and puzzle aspect and gradual review of the story is really fun and nicely articulated feel wise! Excited to play this once it is out! :)

They say there's nothing new under the sun. But this game is unique! I love how playing both the worm and the pardner is fun! I love the worm perspective in particular, so cool! Thank you for giving us an 8 player game for the price of 1 copy with the friend pass. With that said its worth the purchase for cute cosmetics and supporting the game!!!

Give this game a chance! While it might not be a perfectly polished final product, it offers an incredibly enjoyable gaming experience! All the features that make a game entertaining and fun as a cooperative experience are present and running smoothly. I picked this up with a friend and we played for a solid 4 hours straight during our first session, with plenty more gameplay ahead of us (we're only at level 6 out of 20). For just $12, you can dive into the game, tackle challenges, and have an absolutely fantastic time! I'd rate it 10/10 for an early access game!

I am a big fan of The Forest (OG) loved the game to pieces and was very excited for SOTF.
I am well aware that the game is early access, but in its current state, I can not recommend it.
The game is pretty, make no mistake, and I enjoy the new theme.
However, there are just too many things working against it right now.

-Mud cannibal enemies are kinda annoying
-Bunkers are very laggy in multiplayer
-Map feels empty, running simulator
-Caves seem to have lost the level of detail that was truly unique in The Forest
-The new UI system is clunky and very difficult to use during combat (no hotkeys)

Overall, I am fairly disappointed and feel that the game in its current state feels too unfinished for the $$$.
My advice is to let it continue developing and wait for the 1.0 before investing.

Wonderful game! Super cool, everything worked perfectly, the art style is lovely and it has a great story-line! The price per hour of enjoyment is more than fair! 10/10 would recommend!
