The time limit is terrible and ticks when other players are finished with their turn but you have to wait for all the bonuses they get from their last turn. This can sometimes take up to a minute. Worse, if you time out and get booted to main menu you can get into a situation where you can't even play the game due to karma loss. I literally was on the final generation of a game where both me and the other player had seconds left but due to the end of their last turn taking 20 seconds to finish ticking all their bonuses, I auto loss (even tho I would have won the game). Completely terrible.
