A very surprising game. Much more than I expected.

Graphics are pretty much what you can expect from Unreal Engine game - looks a bit plastic or artificial, but the overall design and quality are very good. Textures are fairly high resolution compared to some lazy console ports. Sound is OK - nothing extremely good or bad to remember. Voice acting is really good - it’s enough to look at the people involved (Bruce Boxleitner, Nolan North, Jake Busey...)

The game plays like any other 3rd person cover-based shooter. The mechanics are exactly what you would expect of that kind of game and I’m quite convinced even this serves a purpose in the overall design of the game.

The best element of the game is it’s story and how great it plays with your expectations. You play as Captain Martin Walker, member of Delta Force, sent to lead a 3-man elite squad looking for survivors in Dubai. And for majority of the game you do play a standard video game cliche - ‘best of the best’, elite soldier until both you as the player and your character realize that not everything you see is true.

Definitely worth buying. Even if you don’t like the basic price, put it on your wishlist and grab it on one of many Steam sales.
