This i a short puzzle game with about 10 puzzles to finish in 2-3 hours. If you are familiar with logic puzzle, you won't have anything you can't overcome with a few minutes of thought each.

What's kinda cool/cryptic is the overriding story that is at the same time easy to follow without language, weird, and occasionally funny.

I bought for $5 and it's easily worth that for a combination of fun and satisfaction of a game finished.`

If you like crafting games with a little bit of low-tech combat and strategy, this is a good one. The programming of monkeys is at a very basic level (basically only a single type of command), but making up for that, the monkeys are smart about finding a new tool from whatever chest is in the vicinity to continue their work. Programming the monkeys to do collecting, supplying, and crafting is a satisfying way to speed efforts, since the monkeys can do many things faster than the human.

The controls are a frustration, because the same key is used both for picking up loot en mass and switching held items with a monkey follower.

Good, addictive game with a very challenging path to colonize a planet. Programming bots as the most significant component of your sup[ply chain is most of the fun. If you don't like that, you might be disappointed.

Outstanding factory sim. Lots of tricks to master regarding supply chains and operations research. I am surprised this is not a classic already, because it left me wanting an expansion.

Cute, first-person alternative to Stardew Valley. Not as much grinding in terms of managing and optimizing crops with more focus on quests/adventure. Mid-game automation of activities is vwelcome. Combat is very simple to master.

The crafting is an entertaining progression. I don't think the expansion DLC Stranger SIns adds much in terms of game play.

There are some good production problems with alchemy and making money if you don't look online for spoilers.

A new best in the tactical combat genre, Mutant Year Zero forces the player to choose between abilities for each combat and work through challenging encounters 1 at a time by setting up ambushes that remain complex well into the game.

Highly recommend for the environment, story, gameplay.

One note to developers...With 5 characters who share weapons, there should be an easier mechanism to switch items from character to character. Recommend 5 columns (1 per character) available to easily switch armor and weapons for each fight. Mutations would optimally work the same way with 5 columns sectioned off into 1 choice for each of 3 mutation types. There is no good reason I can see to have inventory and mutation management overhead drag down an otherwise excellent game.

Highly recommended.

This game could be a wonderful tool to teach business to children, because it shows economic progress in income statement format. I would like a few more lines to differentiate in that income statement where licenses purchsed are lumped with mission rewards, for example.

Nonetheless, the simulation is fun and forces controlled expansion of a Caribbean trading empire built from humble beginnings. Should you focus on the acquisition of ships? Building production facilities? Missions offered by town leaders? These are all questions the player must determine on his own and there is no specific goal in the "free play" sandbox game. The tutorials are full games in themselves which teach the layered complexities of the game.

Trading will always be a central part and the deep trading sim forces players to consider how to best organize trade routes, build convoy specific to task, and handle their own supply chains for production. Even when complete, there is still much to learn.

If you're the type of player that likes to have a 2nd computer nearby for optimization, you will absolutely love this game.
