update after 1.0

Having played the whole thing through the different update in EA, I have to admit that it is a pleasure to play synergy and come back to it again and again.

it is nice, it is calm, it is refreshing. It has qualities that are needed in today's busy and fast pace market.

I can understand people not liking the game on account of personnal preferences. but you can have a good time, chilling with your city and progress by helping a civilization to rebuild. or as I saw below in the comment, you can spam benches like it is some kind of feel good competition...

anyway I stand by my statement that synergy is a good game with a lot more to give than what meets the eyes. I am only starting to see some of the complexity with the different flower farming etc...

I enjoyed the demo, the game so far elaborate on it and gives a chill vibe to a beautiful setting.

Full disclosure, I was part of the balancing sessions of the game.

The game is hard and is meant to be. I would not have it any other way. Sometime you fail because you did not adapt your strategy soon enough to balance out the rising power of the enemies.

To my mind the balancing has been done, so far as I experienced it, in a good way. The toughest part will always be the mid run where you have to decide which way to commit to prepare for the final chapters.

very good sandbox table top game

Ce jeu est exactement comme un plat trop épicé. On sait trèsbien que ca va pas bien se passer, que ce sera dur et injuste sur le long terme mais bon, au final c'est super bon donc pourquoi s'en priver?
J'ai lu pas mal de forum où les gens le designait comme un faux shmup et je ne leur donnerait pas tort ici car on ne shoot rien ici quand meme. Par contre, de tout les platformer en arène auxquels j'ai pu joué, celui est de loin le meilleur qui me soit tombé dans les mains.
Alors oui c'est dur et oui des fois on a envie de jeter l'ecran par la fenetre et sacrifier une chèvre à khorne pour qu'il aille s'occuper du maniaque en charge des patterns mais vous avez quoi? C'est au fond ce qu'on cherche. Un bon gros challenge bien velu, qui vous mets à quatre pattes avant de vous relever à grand renfort de coups de pied au cul.
