It is a rather "solid" recreation of the original. (har har)

Pros: It is exactly as you remember, but with better graphics.

Cons: The price is appalling for a recreation where many of the original assets were simply used again.

Another great entry in the trio of Rocksteady Arkham games. "Being the Bat" has never felt so authentic. The graphics are incredible, the voice acting and the writing are spot on, and for the most part the game controls and plays well.

I must point out that they overdid it with the Batmobile sections, especially the Riddler challenges. It is nice to have the Batmobile as an option or a tool, but the constant need for it becomes repetitive.

I enjoyed this masterpiece on a whim when the game originally came out. I had never heard of it at the time but the cover looked cool. It remains a favorite game of mine ever since and this is a faithful recreation.

If you liked it back then, you'll probably like it for the same reasons. If you're new, you might see a glimmer of why it may have been cool, but don't buy it for the graphics, lol.

I am playing this game over ten years after it was launched and it still remains a wonderful homage to all that is Batman.

If you want to be "The Bat," this is a game for you.

While I recommend this game, I caution you. I really want to like this game. It has a lot going for it. But every single one of its mechanics is built around frustration. Perhaps best purchased on a good sale.

I at least wish to give credit where credit is due. The voice actor for the main character does a great job. While the player plays one version of Jan, the voice actor portrays many different variations of the same guy. While this would be a challenge, I can tell he enjoyed this role.

Great concept, great execution, great game!

A surprisingly well polished, well crafted game. A lot of fun in a time when games seem to have forgotten what games are about. I like the fact that it is its own entity, closer in line with the comics, and not just some carbon copy of the movies or a simple cash grab.

I had to go back to Star Citizen because it was a relatively bug free experience in comparison. That is saying a lot...
