Pretty fun little game, well made, simple in his complexity. If you are a developer you'll find it like a little challenge to have on your side window, mining there XP and money while you do other stuff... and when you feel like it, come back, do some scripts, try to break the game... rinse and repeat 👍

Really cool game! Love the story line, and the atmosphere of it all.
It felt really short tho! :D and the AI of the Zurks could have a bit of tweaking. But overall, cutest game I've played in a while.

I'm going to be very straight forward about this game:
It's one of the most anticlimactic games I've ever played.

Now, I'm a Point & Click adventure game lover. I'm always on the lookout for a challenge, a good story, the humour, the art... There's something that saves an adventure game one way or another, even if they fall weak in some of these aspects.

In Truberbrook, it's like they were near to achieve some of these merits. But, every time they were about to touch that glory, something would come out of the blue and shakedown the whole building.

There's this continuous feeling of just straight down plagiarism (The very thin line between being inspired on something of just straight down copying it) where the game is taking borrowed from classic adventure games but without any reasoning for why they are doing it or should do it… so the game logic, story and engagements feels broken, inconclusive.

Talking about broken logic: the puzzles themselves don’t make any sense most of the time. You can predict as a player what the next movement should be, but I guess they thought they’ll play it smarter and make the puzzles a little weird, sometimes too weird… And sometimes there’s just absolutely no logic or reasoning whatsoever: The main character goes by smoking all day and then he’s stuck in a puzzle because he doesn’t have a lighter?… This kind of stuff just makes the cherry on top for the game some times.

This game is not a kids game, the content is many times not for kids, but it’s also not that much of a game to be played by a more mature audience… It’s kinda like the game is a massive cognitive dissonance that could have been much, much more, but wasn’t.

Anyhow, I did had a tiny bit of fun while I played the game. I spent a total of 6h, and I think that's it, I'll possibly never touch it again. I'm glad that I didn't spend the full 30€ on it!

Pretty fun game for a day of "I don't know what to play".
The way you cross over that low-poly world, following the trail of the Uncle history is pretty inspiring and calming.
Having said that, I also have to say this game is pretty buggy. You'll find yourself tackling down a lot of bugs to be able to continue the game, from small stupid graphic bugs to game-breaking ones... So be careful with that.

The dev did a really nice job transporting you into the story without the need of anything fancy and achieved leaving you at the end wanting for more.

73 hours and still loving it!

This is not a game for the very quick-paced people out there. This takes time, patience and most of all, a lot of curiosity.

Great ambience, music, visuals (With a couple of things that could be better) and playability. The history really get's into you and there's so much life lines to explore that is just awesome.

If you don't plan your trips, well, also your works, it can get cumbersome... But when you get the catch on how to get money/resources while completing the various tasks, its just perfect.

The only thing I would change is the way the log works... And, for sure, the illustrations of the officers, for some reason they lack of the quality that the rest of scenography and history illustrations have.

Cheers and break a leg zee-people!
