When it comes to Dead by Daylight, there's a lot of positives and negatives that come from this game. Here, I'm going to try to look at it from both sides of the argument.

Positives
-Somewhat fast paced gameplay that keeps you on edge
-Soundtrack and sounds set the tone
-Great party game for people who love a fun time
-Flexible gameplay for different characters
-Can be addicting!
-From my experience, when solo queueing, I've found games quickly. I don't know how this affects anyone else, but this is from my point of view.

Negatives
-Wait times for parties. If you want to search in a party for a game on Dead by Daylight, you may as well make a sandwich and watch a couple movies. It's going to take a while.
-The community. It's almost as if CS:GO's toxicity has met with Dead by Daylight. You can find rude Survivors and killers in many different scenarios. It's almost as if some people like to ruin the game for others.
-Bugs. The developers have said multiple times that they will fix bugs that are prevalent in the game, but take a seemingly long time to fix. I don't know why this is, but hopefully this gets fixed for the future.
-Matchmaking. Imagine you have just purchased the game, 0 hours and freshly started. You go to queue up in a game as a rank 20 survivor, and get survivors rank 20, 18, and 17, while the killer is rank 3. This has actually happened to me after a rank reset (every 13th of the month). I was absolutely baffled. The matchmaking needs an update, preferably more towards an ELO system. Also, the game runs peer to peer, so if you happen to run into a Killer who has very high ping, good luck.

Overall Opinion
Through all the issues that I face in this game, and will continue to face, I still will play this game. It's a fun game to me and I love the fact that it's somewhat of a grinder game. My overall verdict of the game would be a 7/10. Score will go up as more things get fixed throughout the games development and updates.
