Amazingly fun 2D fighting game with a cool retroish pixel-art style. Great for parties

One of the most addictive and enjoyable games I have ever played. I cannot possibly recommend this game enough. It's a great space opera-flavored roguelite that features many, many hours of playing and frustration. The permadeath element encourages the player to become very emotionally invested in his ship and his crew, and it is truly heart-breaking to lose a game that felt like it was going so well, or to lose one of your high-level crew-members that have been with you since the beginning. Naturally, the reverse is also true: since victories don't come cheap, it is very fulfilling to finally win. The pixel sprites are quite nice, and the writing for the events is often clever and fun. I really like this game.
