I play on single player only and I'm a big fan of COD campaigns. This one doesn't disappoint. I just wish they made more of these futuristic ones. Maybe throw in some aliens next time.

Loved this one. Solo'd it and surprisingly satisfying. Combat and shooting is nice and punchy. Enemies are varied enough. Difficulty system is unique with an interesting way to implement. Good looters shooter.

LOVED the story. Rarely a shooter has such good lore and story written. Only a few other games made me care about the story and this is one of them.

I've got over 500 mods running on this. And I've been playing since 2011. My displayed play time is a fraction of what it actually is when combined with Odrim. Is that a review enough?

Post 3rd Patch Windows 10 Edit:

Finally works like a charm. I won't say that its too little too late cuz this game worked well (better than on Windows 10 comparatively).

I only got the issues when I upgraded to Windows 10.

So...now...i guess...its all good....i do feel meh though :/

POST WINDOWS 10 UPGRADE EDIT:

Bloody hell i was really lucky to have made it thru the game without a glitch on Win 8.1

After upgrade everything wrong with the game popped up...never have i been more exasperated with a game b4 upto this level :@ :@ :@

Can't "Even the odds" without CTD oer BSOD :/ :/ :/

And thts just the tip of the iceberg :@

Stay away until the patch is released

********************************************************************

Right of the bat this is my honest-to-goodness feedback despite all the negativity surrounding the game:

1. My config:

Core i7 4790k
8 GB RAM
Asus Z97
MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti

2. Uncapped from 30 FPS -> 60 FPS via ini setting b4 even launching the story campaign.
3. Minimized motion blur not for better performance but because I absolutely HATE motion blur. It gives me headaches.

4. Launched the game with everything maxed out in-game INCLUDING Nvidia's Gameworks Tech.

End result: FPS is not exactly stable near 60 FPS but it is in the range of 40 - 60 depending on the scenario in-game. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Rockesteady should release some sort of update patch that would help more control of graphics in-game rather than ini tweaks. But having good FPS with so much graphic fidelity is amazing

Overall I'm extremely happy with this game :D far happier than when I launched Assassins Creed Unity (words need not be uttered) and The Witcher 3 (the graphical downgrade was a bleh :/ although SweetFx mods made up for that).

Would recommend to buy for sure. Go ahead. Click Add to Cart. You won't regret it.

You're on steam. You're on the Witcher 3 Store page about to click Add to Cart. DO IT!!! DO IT! DO IT!!

To put words to the beauty within this work of art is nigh impossible but I will give it a go anyway.

The Witcher 3 is the last leg in the story of our very near and dear White Wolf. The realm is in utter chaos. War is no more in the distance. It is the way of life for the common folk. Amidst this chaos our hero must risk all to fulfill his fate which is forever intertwined with that of his long lost love. You can guess who that is.

An open world which challenges the likes of Skyrim and Dragon Age Inquisition but having the flaws of neither. One of the most pleasant surprises was once you know a potion you don't have to keep brewing it again and again and again. It had become tedious and annoying in Dragon Age Inquisition but it is not so with Witcher 3.

The UI is quite superior to Witcher 3 and very interconnected and fluid. Shortcuts for EVERYTHING which is brilliant!

The gameplay is just fantastic! The running around and fighting has not changed much but the subtle platforming built into the game makes it so much more believable and fun! And Geralt can jump! Woohoo! No more "Press E to climb".

The animations are well done. Every subtle detail has been paid so much attention. CD Projekt Red ARE a bunch of perfectionists!

And the GRAPHICS...Oh My God! When it's dusk in-game...all i want to do is walk into the sunlight wafting through the tree leaves!! And thts just the tip of the iceberg!

The story is something filmmakers could learn from but having said that the game is based on the books so there's that.

Overall, the devs have outdone themselves! My only trepidation is that this is the end of the trilogy :( although i have yet to even get 1/4th thru the game after having played nearly 20 hours.

Oh also...be ready to sacrifice whatever little social life you had.

PS: The beard grows. The beard freakin grows!

Finally a story with a considerable amount of romance but sadly this dynamic is barely explored. Instead, the writers decided to concentrate on the revenge part of the story thus making it blaringly similar to Ezio's story. Except that it doesnt even come close to the Italian Assassin's gut wrenching emotional rollercoaster.

The removal of the kill-streak in combat is a step backwards from Black Flag. The absence of human-shields is just confounding. Why the hell they decided to remove it is beyond me.

The massive number of NPCs adds to the whole feel of the game but they should've optimised it better before releasing the game to the public.

The one saving grace of this game is the graphics...OMG!! Ubisot really have outdone themselves in this area.

You can't have more than a single save game...again another step back for the series.

The unlocking of various outfits from the previous games is way too time consuming. It should not be so.

Overall I'd say get the game on sale. 60$ on it at release time was blah. I'm luckily one of the few that didnt have too many issues with the game but thts not something that should have to be said in the first place.

Rating: 5/10

**I'm an AC series fan since the beginning. Giving an AC game a 5/10 is a big deal for me :/
