Early Access Review
I'd call this a hidden gem. Early Access is already impressive, mostly bug free, and co-op. Give it some time - it tkaes a bit to get into. Once you get to the first main town it really picks up and I started to "get it." The story goes pretty far.

Totally recommend - easy 20 hours of fun, and more if you like grinding or doing "end-game" loop stuff.

yo, sick.

This game is Dark Souls at Home in the best way possible. It has some co-op bugs that are very obnoxious, like levels loading/unloading underneath players and the client player not being able to always do certain item transactions (e.g. upgrade their healing item or get a boss remembrance.)

But overall it's super cool, and honestly a bit more casual than Dark Souls which makes it very good in my book. Super fun to play with a friend, and the Friend Pass means they didn't even have to buy the game. Good move!

Great world, good story, okay voice acting. Decent enemy AI. Good level design, especially coupled with the Umbral element which is very clever in some bits, and creates some very tense decision-making.

I dunno about Mixed reviews - I think this game is honestly very good. It's got some bugs, but it's real fun, pretty, and has the very interesting Umbral mechanic that gets used all throughout. Recommend.

can't believe they got Patrick Stewart for this, isn't he almost 87 years old or something

This game should have WAY more attention. It's excellent. Great with friends, progression is shared, amazing art style, super consistent generally. Great theme, mood, and soundscape. It also has a weird nostalgia tickle for me, maybe it's the FF7-ish art style or the harvest moon-ish mechanics. It has a couple minor UI/UX nitpicks - just some "I wish it could do this or that" but largely it is so great.

If the devs want some of my negative thoughts:
- A little more info when hovering icons (recipe requirements) would be nice
- Splitting stacks for dropping items in multiplayer (and maybe not sending the items flying out in all directions)
- When you click to do something, you should turn to face that direction instead of having to WASD to rotate that way.
- Don't wipe progress on new updates! I hear that's an issue.

Honestly otherwise? Great fun, and much bigger than it initially lets on. Cool, cool game. Pick it up.

Great game, very addictive. It's pretty hard, but once you get it, it's a great time.

This is pretty cool. I don't normally play Match-3 but my brother made it, so I scooped it up. He didn't know I did this, so I'm going to be really honest with him...

This game has a lot of very fun little mechanics, great sound, and relaxing music. The whole artwork is very cohesive, reminds me of a couple 90s titles - and for some reason the vibe brings me back to XBLA on the Xbox 360 - weird! But good.

I don't think the game teaches you as well as it could, but it's pretty simple to learn and it's clear the developers have thought out a lot of the challenges the player faces when starting the game, and added a lot of cool curve-balls as you progress into the game.

It's a good game, it didn't seem to have any bugs that I found in the 30 or so minutes I just sunk into it (until I goofed up and lost, anyway.) You can definitely get sucked into it pretty quick. Cool game.
