There is a very good reason that this game is so expensive, even for an early access.

That reason is simple- the game is incredible. Think Supreme Commander, but interplanatary, and massive. There is absolutely nothing like it that has ever existed. You can create a star system, build a giant army, send it between planets, and then shoot the planets at each other! Who doesn't want to do that?!

Though, there is a bit of a steep learning curve- the tutorial is lackluster, but the beauty and obvious excellence and innovation this game is filled with trumps any difficulty. I was destroyed by the AI several times before I got the hang of almost anything. But when I beat it, oh boy did it feel amazing- I nuked them into the stone age, and blew them up with lasers shot from space. From space!

When done, this game will be unmatched in excellence. They have taken the idea and made it real. This is not another flop of a non-big-name RTS, this is excellence in the making. Support these people- they're geniuses, and deserve every bit of that money. And you'll get every bit of it back from the amazing gameplay, which is only going to improve!
