So I kind of got forced into playing this game at first. Turns out that I got hooked after the first few minutes and finished it in one go. That was pretty unexpected.

To the Moon is a great "game", if you're willing to call it that. I'd call it an interactive story more than anything, as the gameplay mainly consists of walking around in your patient's memory, linking it together and eventually fulfilling his dream.

The storytelling, however, is amazing. Even if there's not much gameplay, the constant remarks from Dr. Watts and the emotional story really got to me.

I still have my doubts on whether the ending was a happy one or not, but that really is probably just me.

In the end, I'd say this is a must-play for anyone who likes to read stories. If stories aren't your thing, you probably won't like it, as there is no real gameplay to be found other than walking. And to people familiar with similar games or visual novels: play it, it's worth your time.

After playing this game I realized that I really shouldn't have bothered to play single player. Perhaps I just can't get into simple shooters anymore, but I got incredibly bored after around 10 minutes.

The game comes down to one simple principle: when you see zombies, shoot them. Now I can imagine this being fun on a night with a couple of friends, but when played alone all you're left with is repetitive gameplay held together by a weak story.

I might give this game another try with some friends at a certain point, but since barely any of them have the actual game I doubt I'll be playing it again.
