I'm so glad I didn't kill myself before this came out. Thanks Genki for bringing back my favorite racing franchise of all time.

This is very EA and is pretty bare bones in its current state, but I think this this game does a good job calling itself a lite sub sim. The foundation is there for an accessible submarine game, it just needs some love and time - and I trust Microprose to give it that with their track records of great military simulations over the years.

This game is rough. It's plagued with audio issues, clipping objects, incorrect subtitles and historical inaccuracies. FPS drops below 30 on a RTX 4090 and an i9-14900KF.

Despite the issues, it's very unique and they nailed it with the environments and the atmosphere. Buy this on sale. It's worth $10-$12 but it's very hard to justify the $20 price tag for 8 hours of gameplay and the poor optimization.

If steam had a neutral option for the recommendation, that's what I would have picked, because I don't think this 100% warrants a down vote.

This is one of the best LOTR games ever made and it's a shame that it's stuck in a licensing hell and will probably never be sold on steam again. The only way to experience this game currently is with a key or a physical copy on console. 8-10 hours of great action RPG/hack and slash combat that doesn't stray from Tolkien's work.
