Ever since the anniversary update, my modded playthroughs that haven't changed in years have been crashing non-stop. I try to load in a new game? Crashes. These mods all worked together before the update and I didn't update to the AE, yet all I seem to get now are crashes. This is the last Bethesda game I will ever buy. Every single one of their games are very buggy, have high latency spots, have memory leaks, and EVERY SINGLE UPDATE sends their games down the toilet, even without changing the mod list or updating the game.

I play modded on PC, XBox Series X, and PS5 and have had these issues on all 3 since the AE update.

I remember this game had much better graphics in the very beginning, now it's all clunky to reduce specs needed. I miss the old Valheim. Would still recommend the game, but it's not the same as it used to be.

This is a really fun game if you're into the Lovecraftian themes. I haven't gotten very far into it so far, so There's nothing I can say that would spoil things that isn't shown by the images above.

The game runs really well on Steam Deck, though text in menus can be cut off, 'mouse sensitivity' needs to be adjusted, Tab has been remapped to the Select button by default, and E, the action button, has been remapped to B on the Steam Deck. So far though, I have not found any issues and with a bit of remapping, and sensitivity adjustment, I'm sure the game would work nearly perfectly on the Steam Deck, so long as you're okay with some text being cut off here and there.

This game can be fun if you can get past the first half hour of hand-holding and slowing you down by use of very slow walking and tons of dialog. Once you start getting into the game, you'll quickly realize that there isn't much to do in the game. It's the same dozen or so tasks throughout the entire thing. There's a lot to explore, but it's essentially all the same. It takes about 2-5 hours to actually start doing anything fun, and even then, it feels mostly hollow. Voice acting by NPCs is decent, but it sounds like the main character is pure AI with a horrible 1/8-1/4 second reverb that I find very annoying. While the main quest line is at least entertaining, the side quests and the collection items are a complete bore. I personally would not recommend this game to others and honestly only use the game now as a means of laughing at how bad it really is. (I have completed the game fully on PS5 by the way...)

A wonderful game. I saw the launch trailer when it first came out and fell in love immediately. I bought the game in several forms, played through it many times and love it through to it's core.

First off, I will not spoil anything.

The game is endearing, adventures, has a wonderful story and lore, and has a perfect soundtrack that guides the player through emotions.

My recommendations:
1: Play it blindly (I cannot stress this enough), do not look at people's reactions or playthroughs until you play it yourself. You only get one chance to experience the game in it's fullest, and though playing through it again might show you things you may have missed, It won't be the same.
2: Explore everywhere and everything, sometimes multiple times.
3: Talk to everyone. Explorer somewhere new? Talk to them again!
4: Check your ship's computer with each voyage, it'll remind you of things, keep you updated, and tell you if you miss something.
5: Enjoy the experience. This is a mostly relaxing game, but if you don't take the time to play it naturally and enjoy it, you may miss out.

As with most who have played this game, it has changed me and will forever remain one of my top faves!

I love this entire series, and though this particular game is not my favorite, it is still very good for a point and click puzzle exploration game.

On a side note, this game does have some issues when playing on the steamdeck. I have noticed lost frames while moving and looking around, camera sensitivity is off the charts if using the right joystick, text is slightly blurred and distorted, and there are audio issues when opening up the Steam menus. This was all found in the first 5 mins of playing. These issues are not surprising given the age of the game, and I do not fault Cyan Games for these issues, nor do I expect them to work to fix these issues.

I do recommend the game for any who like P&C puzzles for PC users.
However I cannot recommend it for any individuals attempting to play the game on a steamdeck.

Adter watching a video from Josh on Lets Game It Out, I decided to have a look at this game and even from the start, I wasnt disappointed.

This game is quite fun and surprisingly fleshed out for such an early build (Currently on Spud 00.008, the July 13th, 2025 build). Now I do realize it'sfairly bare bones in some areas, but as people have said already, it's Early Access for a reason and it'sto be expected.

The game seems to handle great on the steamdeck with no issues on my end, graphical, imput, or otherwise, though some sensitivity alterations may be needed for individuals attempting to run the game on their steamdeck (camera movement speed might not be to everyone's liking whereas on pc, the speed of the mouse controls the speed of the camera). I see a lot of potential and several areas that look like they are designed for future use (always a good sign for early builds in my opinion as it shows the dev or dev team of any game has plans for expansion, and while this is not always the case, it's still good to see).

All in all, I think this is one of those great games where you can just shut your brain down, relax, and unwind.

Simple score! 10/10 all around.
Great, emotional story. Heartwrenching within the first 5 mins of the story and again at the end.
Wonderful soundtrack. Best soundtrack I've heard in any game, especially from a company that started out with this game alone. I'm very impressed and very glad your team has gotten awards on this wonderful soundtrack.
Wonderful camera and controls. I don't have any issues with controller support and the latency between pressing a button and doing an action is barely, if at all recognizable.

Overall I recommend this game to all my friends. This is one game I'm thouroughly addicted to and can play over and over again! Well done Moon Studios! Well done!

I stand by my word when I had originally played the game in pre-release. The story has gotten even better and more refined. I have since played Subnautica on several platforms and love every moment of it. Since it's release, Subnautica has become very enthralling and a wonderful, yet somewhat scary adventure. I applaud the sound development team for the unique sounds within the game. Though I liked the original voice of the PDA, the new voice is more balanced and sounds a bit more natural to the player. The story feels fleshed out, and thanks to the 'Give Feedback' feature built into the game, what could have been a disaster if not handled correctly, turned into one of the best games of it's time!

Beautiful graphical design, very good story so far, and wonderful AI behavior. I love the concept and would happily recomend this game to any and all my friends. There are a few glitches here and there but that's to be expected of a pre-release game that's still in it's Beta build stages.
