the mad lads really did put a walking simulator in a vampire rpg. the scariest part was seeing that 400m to the next main quest objective, going to it, and then seeing another pop up. mf's got you trekking across seattle over and over in both the past and present to interact with the same 5 characters.

combat can be fun tho. gliding across roof tops, sliding into people, and hand slicing off 3 different heads in an instant.

replayability is none existent atm thanks to Fabian's sections. apparently they are gunna patch it later so you can skip that after you beat the game.

game went thru dev hell, so props to chinese room for at least making a 5/10

linear, which would be fine if it wasn't telling a mid story. completely forgettable MC, especially compared to previous Mafia titles.

has the option for wardrobe and garage that you can hardly engage with because you're on rails.
multiple forced stealth sections that end with you getting caught and just shooting everyone anyway.

game play so underwhelming that it wouldn't impress anyone 15 years ago.

graphics look good at least.
