Has robot hitler - Game of the decade

I don't really know what to say.

It feels like everyone is so blindsided by the fact that "it's the sequel to the forest!!11" that they fail to see that within 7 years difference, there is pretty much no difference other than the graphics.

The map is large, sure, but empty and void of anything to do. It's pretty much foliage walking simulator with the occasional cannibal camp or suitcase spawn.

There is literally no point of building a base in this game, there is no incentive to the player as the gameplay loop of defending from raiders gets boring really fast as there is zero variation after the first few days.

The story is pathetic to say the least, with downright one of the most disappointing endings I've seen in a game. To be honest, it would have been better to leave the story out and add it in later.

I really can't recommend this game in its current state to anybody. It's an unfinished game which has had 7 years and multiple delays to come into fruition, but yet the developers have masked it as "early access" as they know fans will buy it and defend any criticism anyways.

I played this game when i was 9, ten years later and man this series is amazing. The menu music gives me chills

This game is obviously inspired by Portal, however it goes its own way about things, throwing in humour and a bit of story telling here and there. Really nice experience overall however it's quite short and knowing where the exits are on levels can be confusing at times.

Negative reviews are due to DRM, motion blur and raw mouse movement, all petty complaints which shouldnt be a deal breaker for most people.

with so much depth in a game, the price is easily justified, moments such as a rathalos swooping in to attack the monster youre meant to be killing and watching the two battle it out can be amazing to witness. The first few hours are slow but the game dramatically gets better as you start to understand the mechanics. Playing friends is a blast, same with simply hoping in a helping a random finishing a boss. However it is tedious to play with friends at the start as story missions are practically forced upon you ( you can only join a friend once you've both seen the cutscene)

also the graphics are phenomenal, among the best i've seen in a game, now you may think this also leads to a beefy PC being required to actually run the game, however my friend can perfectly play the game with his gtx 950.
