Almighty father of all sandbox games.

This is essentially a euro board game for PC, where the goal is to build an empire creating trade connections limited to 1 export between planets with imports requirements. Ends up in a super complex puzzle.

On every run you need to take care of your empire resources, otherwise you can lose by going 0 money or low happiness. This provides the real challenge on top of the trading premise.

• Keep a healthy economy. Each planet has an upkeep cost and a happiness, size of the empire, amount of trade connections
  
• Maintaining happiness. Every resource not well assigned or missing will reduce happiness, which multiplies your final score in the end(80% happy, 80% score)
  
• Efficiency. Bigger the empire, more upkeep cost. More trade connections, more expensive they get.
  
• Positioning of the planets. You can not overlap trading routes.
  
• Time. You have 25 years limit for each run and every action consumes time. When the year turns, your upkeep will count, positively or negatively.

To make your empire flourish, you need to seize some advantages.

• Choose 3 species from 5 to get perks and build your tech tree.
  
• Do missions for each species to get bonuses on resources, technology and final score.
  
• Technology. Choose wisely as it will allow you new paths on the galaxy and also unlock new technologies.

The developers deserve a heads-up here, specially in times of incomplete and buggy games.

• Excellent interface, simple and easy to play, but very hard to master.
  
• Beautiful and light, with no loading time at all.
  
• Sleek ideas. Undo actions and no rounds, it is a time counter that is consumed by your actions. You can undo your actions until the point of the last hidden thing is revealed.
  
• Runs are designed to be short because time is a scarce resource, but you'll see yourself playing the same seed repeated times perfecting bit by bit the order of your actions.
  
• Competitive mode where players run on a seed that changes every week.

Excellent game, unique design, very well-made and also it's very cheap. Just buy it and try it out.

It is really sad the amount of bad reviews saying the game is hard because of RNG. It feels like those are hasty, anxious people who need early rewards all the time.
This is a game procedurally generated and challenging, like many other, chill out.
