Unlike any other game I've played. I've really enjoyed its weirdness and interesting themes. The gameplay's main flavor, at least to start, is a pleasing delayed gratification cycle. Spending 8 minutes walking and taking in the scenery is something normal at the beginning of this game. Falling over in the river and watching your packages float away is the most stressful experience I've ever had in a video game.I love my psychic foetus son

This game has a compelling story. The environment is rich with information, characters, and stimuli. The combination of music and design creates an immersive environment. The characters are interesting. You have a sense that your choices matter in the world, and that the world is very much alive. After playing the first act I would say that it's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of choice-tree RPGs. This isn't a shooter. It's more of a choose your own adventure story with optional shooting. I have been using a katana as well as shooting. The fighting is not always glamorous and smooth. This is more than made up for by the environment and storytelling.

Although, any time I pay full price for a game I feel like a rube. I mean, rationally. I paid $80 for a version of the game that has less features than the one you can play for $30-40 in 2.5 years. I'm jealous of the people who get to play the future version that is further optimized with more content on stronger systems for a lower price. But as it is, I don't regret paying sticker price for this. I haven't had many bugs at all, and there's definitely enough content to sift through for now. If you like pretending you are a robot man shooting bad guys, and you have time and money and hardware over the holidays for this. I say go for it. I already anticipate playing it again as other characters.
