There is a massive rumbling from beneath the surface. Water can get choppy the further from land you are. You hear a trumpeting cry, echoing deep, deep below. The steely grey waters belie a terrifying greatness. And yet, it appears to you, shaped as an equal. But still, it's presence consumes the skyline. You begin to sink below, tiny shards of light pierce the through your lids, the moments were brief and effervescent and quickly dying.

"Where do you draw the line between fantasy and reality? Where can you? Do you even want to?"

The colours coil and writhe, creating recognizable shapes for fleeting moments, before they fade into the churning hue. A fog of sunset Etheria. As it roars, a sound emanates from within your head, toiling like a tower bell at midday. It floats outwards to join the nightmare choir of unearthly noise and song; It's presence fills the depths that swallow you whole. You become conscious of the void below, within it's profound folds a beast was quelled yet it's pressure petrifies you into submission.

Most people are not prone to animosity when confronted an animal lesser than them, in fact the initial reaction is typically one of benevolence and assistance. A bird flies into a house and we gently nudge it back to it's proper environment. An abandoned cat begs for food and is given a scrap to last it to morning. You imprint on animals and offer shelter until their expiration. Help will come when asked.

People are not like animals.
