Was enjoying it till I got the to mom hugging scene which is completely broken, no amount of Break Free (C) MASH does anything at all. Now I can't progress. Who QA'd this ♥♥♥♥?

For years I didn't really give this game a good play. Two things troubled me, I couldn't really get the hand of the combat (particularly against groups of enemies) and secondly the pacing is all over the place in Velen/Novigrad. Even you do nothing but the main quest lines you'll still have a level way over the recommended.

But I learned to fight and managed to find a progression path that included a lot of content (dont use trophies that add xp) and now I just can't stop playing it. Second play through now and I'm still finding heaps of stuff I've never seen before. The writing is so good, hopping between really grisly moments and laugh out loud moments and everything in between. Love it.
