The story is excellent and I was tearing through to find out what happens next, but QOL leaves some thing to be desired

Getting driven absolutely insane by the walking speed and what constitutes "unexplored rivers" in game.
Passing through an area at a stroll is nice the first time to feel like its a lived in environment, the tenth time you have to traverse the same 5 cut scenes to get to Oroi's shop is maddening.
Fantastic first stab and I hope they come back with another effort that has more languages and similar mystery to drive you along exploring. I hope they include a cross reference for the languages like in Chants of Sennar

This is not Hitman 3, If you own hitman 2 your DLC doesn't carry over. You're going to be forced to spend 5x on DLC you can't see on the steam page and can only buy in the steam overlay.
This is false advertising in the worst possible way. Complain to the FTC. This is illegal and we need to make this joke of a sales model illegal.

The perfect mix of challenge and quality of life improvements. Unless you're looking for a game with such minutia that it makes you manually manage your character's blood pressure, this is the survival game that sets the gold standard for the genre.

It's got the joy of trying to explore every corner of a little clockwork universe. I can't help but think of it like KSP without the sandbox and the whole solar system is focused on the mystery that slowly unfolds.

Another solid entry to the series. The trivia murder party has a nice twist now too that minigames are feasibly survivable and the audience will have a wicked good time.

This game can be frustrating, but it illustrates the limits of trying to be strong in all places at once.

It also has a steep learning curve. As usual the tutorial is really tough to get valuable information from.

Advice to get the most out of the game: Play with the front line system. It's the heart of the unit deployment system, once you understand the difference between a front line, a fallback line, and guarison you should be able to explore every mechanic this game has to offer.

If you have an enormous amount of patience play as the USA, so that you won't get steam rollered instantly.

A very engaging little game with the most adorable depiction of WW2. I hope development continues, because after the first 10 hours you've bought enough upgrades and leveled up your crew enough to shrug off the worst enemy encounters and call spitfire to bail you out if the going gets too rough.

My hope is that there is more scaling of difficulty as the plane gets upgraded and that they introduce more bomber models. They have an achievement for going through an entire tour of duty, I think it would be really cool if after 25 missions your veterans get rotated home and you select a b17 or a b24 with a new crew 3 story missions in. At the moment once you get level 3 armor and level 4 guns, the balance goes out the window. The only really hard choice I have to make is to fly at high altitude and not worry about micromanaging the crew and freeze my crew a bit or just fight off waves of opponents at low altitude.

The crew leveling is a little weird too, gunners need way more time to unlock all their abilities, but first aid is done almost as soon as you get it.

All that being said I've definitely found myself saying that I'll go to sleep after one more mission while playing and then having to turn off the game when my alarm goes off.

Pick it up and put it down. Surprisingly deep nonetheless. The perfect game to have ready on ctrl+tab for those lectures and meetings. Pushing for a Boston Map where snow buries your lines and all hope is lost.
