I was able to beat each stage of this game, and had fun, but it definitely has its cons.
Cons:

• Unable to save mid-game, which might be for the best since power-ups and level ups are predictable.
  
• Power-ups and level up powers are the same per difficulty, unless you re-roll or go a different route (e.g. if you get X power-up options at the starting Chest and then restart, you will get those same power-up options again)
  
• Special locations per difficulty never change (power-up placements, special building placements, enemy games, quest givers, etc.)
  
• This game runs so hot. I thought my PC was going to melt, my office would turn into a sauna after I left the game paused (because it doesn't save). Even worse in the later nights (10-11), when lots of mobs would be spawning.
  
• Combat is a bit slow to start until you pick up some more speed
  
• NPCs are bit clunky, it's all a matter of getting behind them (pretty easy)
  
• Something is broken about the bleed build.. you can stack so much bleed on the last boss and it'll just melt even though you can't kill the lane waves (got to the point where I couldn't kill the lane waves, so I just rushed the boss by myself instead).

Pros

• It was a good game to kill some time
  
• It has a new combination of multiple genres (Tower Defense, Moba-feel, rogue-lite, etc.).
  
• It keeps you busy. Time flies very quickly lol
  
• It's not entirely army-based or hero-based, you can choose the path you want to go. Although, I only played the starting hero for now.
  
• Price is fair

Good game for solos to trios

This amazing game and has been just made even better with the recent update. Yes, the UI is different (probably more oriented towards console), or people are too sensitive to change, but it's a fresh release - they'll work it out. The developers actually care about this game and the recent reviews being "Mixed (4,202)" is a total spike of people from the internet who can't enjoy things lol. If it wasn't for the pokemon, friends and price ($40 CAD), I wouldn't have bought this game. Somehow, even though, It's basically a direct port from their other game. Craftopia, with reskins, the bugs are rampant in this game. Thankfully, they don't seem to be game-breaking, and I haven't crashed yet, but if you're looking for a seamless experience, close your eyes when playing. For example, if this damn penguin boss flies through the wall again and I have to reset the boss for the 10th time because he's stuck behind it, I'm going to lose my mind.

Now, I know it's early access, but they've been able to test and run this engine through Craftopia for the last 3 years, but it seems that game is a forever early access game as well, so I wasn't expecting much.

TLDR: I set the bar very low, so I'm able to enjoy the game.

The best survival and social deception game out there. There is a learning curve, but once you've figured out what you're doing, it becomes a lot more fun!
