been a backer for 8 years and i was given a CD key for the game before it ever reached steam's store pages. what we where promised nearly a decade ago was nearly delivered and due to the current game's politics to access the console market i have to leave a negative review for the current development team having to compromise the original promotional material of the game. the changes being made are entirely unnecessary and the market demographics for the console porting will not support the decision either. so close yet they're willing to burn up touching the sun reaching too far

not very polished for the price and the community self sabotages the game mechanics defeating most purpose of the economies, jobs, and housing. devs seem to break things more than fixing also

i regret buying the full package with all the extras for pre order when it was being advertised a few weeks before release. never again will i pre order anything. south park was right

i have a pair of volcom splittertarn shorts in this camo patter but darker green. had to have it in game because its actually functional

thousands of hours and still not top tier.
the devs have altered the economy multiple times to force players to be in a ever constant state of decline when playing higher BRs, the idea that people defense this game as free to play is a total joke since everything on here is a slog and requires a full time job's worth of effort to make any positive gains.
the devs and production studio have also embraced bad business practices raising prices on untested products and ignoring the playerbase's requests for quality of life updates while compounding on the current issues and flaws with lack of intervention of players software tampering or utilizing bots to play for them.

its a good racing game with lots of vehicles and a decent amount of single player racing content but trying to play it online as a racing game doesn't work the same way, with the introduction of DLC vehicles and tournament vehicles with heavy amounts of armor and offensive mounts the online scene for northern US servers has devolved into demolition only servers. think of it as burnout paradise city online without respawns

the stellar has a tamiya rc logo on its roof, this dlc is 10/10 for track racing and rally

the game continues to go downhill on development decisions and on gameplay patch tweaks. people have to constantly ask if dlc characters are required and have meta mechanics and the answer is yes paying money is how you progress here and the devs have angled the game to push you to those sales, they can't even fix their own game and they decided to focus on season pass content to sell more cosmetics

sure you can't customize 2 of the cars in the pack the doom buggie and the gokart but atleast they're some of the coolest and most useful vehicles. the doombuggie has the most torque and is capable of flipping vehicles like monster jam

broken crashing garbage that barely runs long enough to do any missions half way, not worth buying until rockstar fixes their new launcher
