I started playing back in 2012, and wow things have changed so much since then, but there's still a nice nostalgic vibe to it. If you're a lover of D&D and MMOs, this one is a great choice! You don't actually have to pay to play or pay to win, you can earn your way to the top which is still somewhat rare these days. With games out there like Path of Exile (which I also enjoy) and Blade and Soul and World of Warcraft, this is still a great alternative.

Early Access Review
Very green to this game, but a few things stand out right away that I want to note for the devs and for others;
- the graphics are beautiful! Dinos and terrain look fabulous
- the t-rex runs like he is dislocating his hips each step. please for the love of God change his run so his legs aren't bugging out the sides while he runs or walks.
- t-rex can't jump. am I missing something?? is there a jump button aside from spacebar that i don't know about or can this dino just not jump?! please help.
- it takes like 10 minutes or more real time to find another dino to eat or fight. why aren't there other npc creatures around? why don't the trees have birds or monkeys or anything?
- t-rex juvie looks like an alasaurus (spelling?!). the facial structure is very long and slim where t-rex even as a juvie is bulky.

Will update this review as I play more.

Still new to this game, but have been playing it quite a bit since I got it last week. I'll start off by saying I really like the concept. I heard about this game through a friend (didn't see any ads for it and never heard of it before that). It's an interesting game over all with smooth mechanics and different strategies that can get you to a "win" situation. One complaint that I do have is the graphics are pretty low for the environment such as the grass and weeds at times, and the animal parts can look pretty funky when they don't rez in right. The rogue males can make things near impossible if you have a good blood line going and then they swoop in and ruin it, and I have completely run out of females several times which made prolonging my species impossible, but I do like playing and glad I got this.

I went back to revise my review a bit since I have been playing it more, and noticed I failed to mention the positives last time. This game is very smooth running, the scripting is pretty sound and the randomness of the genes can be pretty cool. I am curious if the devs plan on designing something where food can be harvested better, and grass can be torn down quicker? One of my latest strategies is to have a "lawn mowing team" and "food gathering team" then the rest for exploring and mating programs.

This game is awesome for anyone that loves dinosaurs. The pros include using names and dino behaviors based off of what we know in real life, taming dino buddies, the option for rp, awesome workshop mods available, it's fun to do with friends, and the dino breeding for specific traits. The cons include a ton of updates that make it very difficult to keep up if you have your own server (even bare-bones w no mods), players can be jerks and make the learning curve tough on noobs, and there never seem to be "safe" spawn points so it can take a few tries to get in and get playing. Over all this is a great game and I highly recommend it.

Ok so first, I will start off by saying I highly recommend this game. Why?
- It's mostly narrated by Jeff Goldblum ♥
- It's challenging so you won't get easily bored with it yet fun
- It's actually got some decent dino facts for those who care to learn
- It makes you think
- Interaction with your dinos!!!

You've read the pros, so here are some of the cons;
- Setting up electricity and terraforming can be way more difficult than it should be
- There isn't really a tutorial, so as a total noob you may find yourself trying to Google everything for a bit and then there's not really many answers bc it's a new game...

Overall it's a great game! It's like Zoo Tycoon got with Sim City and made a bi-polar lovechild that has dinos. If you'[re on the fence about this game, jump on it the water's more than fine.
