WHY! are you going to add a "founders pack" and then later introduce a "premium founders pack" at even a higher cost?????????
I am very excited for the possibilities of this game. I dearly miss compelling pve fps games.
but that little choice just feels like a money grab. why..WHY.

this.......this is not a true wolfenstein game. this game entirely lost the plot.
they took the combat system of borderlands with no loot drops. made upgrades to your weapons need to be BOUGHT. added a completely nonsensical upgrade and level system for your character. added a........buff system? where you have a cooldown to cast a .......buff? made the game entirely dependent on buddy play or otherwise rely on a absolutely useless AI driven buddy who CONSTANTLY gets in your line of fire or straight up refuses to res you. give enemies arbitrary armor buffs so they try to force you to SEE what type of armor the enemy unit has so you can use the right gun that destroys the armor better and just..... OH MY LORD THIS GAME SUCKS!
the entirety of the combat system sucks, the upgrade system sucks, the plot and character writing sucks, even the graphics are a step BACK from the previous games.
And to top it all off with you a have to put up with some OBNOXIOUS ANNOYING main characters who don't know what they are doing, who are poorly written, act like some douche teenage boys and CERTAINLY cannot be the legitimate raised daughters from the famous Terror Billy AKA William "B.J." Blazkowicz and Anya.
don't play this, dont bother. It gives me a headache just playing as much as i did and i tried to go as fast as i could JUST to try and get through.

oh forgot 1 more thing. Microtransactions.

This game was remarkably short. it really could have been a DLC for the first. the end boss fight was really a joke. i literally just walked around for 5 minutes watching a idle animation of the boss as it......sniffed for me? like it didnt even throw any attack until i fired a shot first. i was like, oh this dude hates nazis too! sweet lets go buddy! but yeah obviously having no further way to progress the game i had to start shooting to start the end game boss fight, which was also remarkably easy to cheese. Just crouch and stay behind a pillar, aim for the mouth. the boss takes care of the ads for you. also the zombies come in far too late. i was really hoping for half the game being a zombie kill spree but it was really just the last act.
not really worth while imo. but if you can get it for free or super cheap on sale i guess get it. otherwise just watch a youtube of someone play it. not missing much.

This game is fun lots to do but lots more stuck behind pay walls. And I get the reasoning behind that, gotta keep the game funded. But those paywalls also keep certain items out of reach that can aid your play. You also start blind because of those pay walls no idea what the full story is and you are just kind of thrown in it and expected to know who everyone and thing is. Not very enticing for new players to get invested when they have no idea who people are.
All in all, decent game play. fun modes. still good to those who dont pay but a lot of work could be done to make it more inclusive to new players or continued play.

Its a great fun game. little back tracky but not grindy.

you know what i hate is the draw of dota, its so interesting to play because no match is ever the same and there are so many different ways to play. its very challenging and those OH ♥♥♥♥ MLG moments are what we live for. its just what makes it so great
but that also makes it so attractive to the wrong crowd. people are drawn in by those things and the wrong crowd start weeding in
people who get super serious about the game because its their only source of joy in the world, so when they lose its that much worse. which puts the stress on performing at your best at all times.
what makes it worse as well is people there is such stress on performance and when you are doing you hardest to do everything right you notice all the things that others do wrong that cause you to lose.
because the game is so stressful everyone eventually loses their lid when they put so much time and effort into the game and get teamed up with people at different skill levels or involvment.
and even THEN people put so much stress on the match making system which is focused on making even teams but not matching up teams with similiar skill levels.
so you have people who are really talented and skilled and knowledgeable about the game who get teamed up with people who have no idea what they are doing or think they know but are mostly clueless.
then theres the aspect of luck involved as well when it comes to who your enemies are. did the match making ♥♥♥♥ them over as well with a missmatched team? or did they come in a party or have smurf accounts?
the fact that smurf accounts exist is just an entire other reason the system gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
people with high skill levels dont want to keep playing at that level and grinding their way past the idiots on their team. so they make second accounts that they can enjoy playing again against people not as skilled so they dont have to sweat the entire game all the time.
which means people on lower skill levels getting boosted higher if they dont deserve it. or the enemy team getting stomped by a top tier player who put more time and effort into the game than them. making them stress over the game and the cycle continues.
i like dota, for its challenge and different ways to play. i hate dota, because match making is broken, smurf accounts break the meta. the meta keeps changing, and no matter how good you play, you cannot usually win the match single handed unless the enemy team is just as bad as yours.
