It's so bizarre in a fun way. Think Yakuza the game, card battles, and business management-ish. But unlike Yakuza, the collectibles in this game are much more accessible and fun to hunt for. I 100%-ed it and need more content. Will check out their other game(s).

I can't decide. It's so dang chill. But why does it hurt so much...

Yes, buy and play this.

It's an interesting argument on good vs evil as what people see as good is built on evil and evil is born from innocence. If amazing story is what you look for, just jump into this game even if it's your first Tales game. It overtook Tales of the Abyss on my list of best JRPGs. Heck, it's one of my most favorite games. I cried so much and crying even more reading the manga now ;_;

Beautiful game story-wise and visual-wise. Gameplay is interesting and engaging in an open-world. One of the handful games I 100%-ed (achievements) ever. The story is not too complicated but surprisingly emotional with a plot twist that reminded me of Doraemon. Art style is adorable and quirky. I highly recommend this game as I made it one of my all-time favorites. I never finished it back on the PS2 and I'm so glad my sister told me to do it.

HIGHLY recommend this. Short review: it's action, puzzle solving, and mostly story; hauntingly beautiful story. I cried many times especially after finishing it. It reminds me of how much we take for granted because of the words 'normal' and 'real'.

Great idea, mediocre gameplay, crap developers.

One of my most favorite atmospheric games. The other one being Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Beautiful environment, atmosphere, and music. I just let myself get lost by attaching to some random fish for long periods of time. Can't say much about the story because I couldn't pay too much attention to it in the first playthrough (I was enjoying the experience so much). Easily the most screenshots I've taken in a game in one sitting/playthrough. A bit short though. Would have loved it to be longer but at the same time I think it's perfect the way it is. Short enough so you don't get bored, long enough so you get to see a lot. Definitely recommend it.

I think it's a great game. I'd describe it as Killing Floor + L4D2 in the sense that you have to achieve objectives and every shot counts. A difference though is that the objectives are generated everytime you start a game. So I've been playing a different game every time. The only special zombie is an armored one that takes a lot of hits to take down but there are hordes. In multiplayer mode it takes a lot of teamwork which is something I like. For example, you have to decide who gets a certain kind of ammo depending on what weapon they have. So it's bad for everyone if someone hordes ammo. Overall I really think it's an underrated game.

Oh, forgot to mention... if you get grappled and bitten by a zombie you slowly turn into one! Or if you die. Then you get to kill your former teammates. That'll teach them for not protecting you.
