I frequently saw people saying that Slay The Spire is the only game you need in your life, and I figured that was hyperbole. It probably is, but damn, this is such a good game. Really well balanced, and produces a really good feeling when you pull off a good combo. Like if a fighting game was played with cards, kind of.

This game is amazing. Play it. Ideally together with someone, I think.

Cool space sandbox type game, I like it a lot. It's getting updated very frequently too, which is impressive. Definitely worth checking out if you like losing track of time to a game, scratches about the same itch as a Mount & Blade campaign used to for me.

I like this game a lot, here are some points in its favour:
* Wide range of player builds and a mutation system that's very fun.
* Tinkering system that actually works well and isn't knick-knack hell to use.
* Lovely ambient background music and spritework.
* Intriguing post-apoc world that's cool to explore.
* A UI that could use some improvement, and is continuously getting them.

Fantastic game, a huge step up from its predecessor. Some performance issues but seeing as the game came out so recently I think that's to be expected. I haven't personally encountered any of the gameplay-affecting bugs people mention, but maybe I'm just lucky.

Like with most Firaxis games, it's likely to keep getting better with time. I recommend it.

Improved gunplay over previous games in the series, and building settlements is pretty fun. The writing's ghastly though, and the voiced protagonist really limits the player's opportunity for proper roleplaying.

Don't buy this if you want a proper RPG, but if you just want to mess around in a post-apocalyptic playground it's decent fun.

Also, being an open-world Bethesda game, there are bound to be some amazing mods on the horizon. So there's that.
