Game is built around a poorly thought out melee system. As such the game suffers on a fundamental level. Even if they make the game more optimized or less buggy. It will always be a tedious, annoying, and hollow experience.

Dead Space 1 is less than half of this and is a better experience.

Game came a long way from pre-release. 100% recommend this to anyone wanting a tactical shooter co-op, hopefully VOID interactive gets their head out their asses soon.

This game hasn't aged well whatsoever. Fights are extremely clunky, not for the fact that you have to stand still to have an accurate shot, that can be fixed with mods and improving skills. It's because whenever there's a fight that isn't a human that you can't just 1 shot headshot they just become bullet sponges that can cripple you instantly or kill you. Hell even some enemies can just straight up tank a headshot and trigger an alarm. Non-lethal isn't an option either, they tell you to try, but you're forced to kill people because of how certain levels are designed.

What makes this game so intriguing is it's story and the conspiracies/political ideas that it argues, is democracy as good as we think? Who actually has control over us? The government or massive corporations? Do we have free will? The list of ideas go on. The line delivery has a special charm to it too, the lack of emotion is done in such a way where it's so bad but good.

The immersion is top notch, while the graphics are of course old, everywhere else is well done. You have free will to do just about anything. You can kill any npc and deal with the repercussions of your actions, some are more punishing than others but it can affect the story in significant ways. You can be rewarded long term for a choice you forgot about in a dialogue choice. There's so many branches that it can be done with multiple playthroughs and still be fresh.

I recommend this game purely to experience the story, and the NPC's that populate the world.

A short but enjoyable experience

Postal 2 is a test of patience, you either hate it in the first day or you chug through the entire thing. Most of the enagements in the story are just forced, but I guess that's the comedy of the game, it just does it. To me, that's not funny. But to others that might be funny. It's hit or miss and that's when it falls off. The combat in this game is creative in some aspects but other than that it just sucks. The higher the difficulty the more they take damage, that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annyoing. It's even worse when more you progress the more enemys you start to face. So you fight protestors with shotguns or assult rifles in random spots with hitscan perfect accuracy. It also doesn't help when you fight boss enemys, they usally have a gimmick going for them, and more random NPC's with guns aim right at you and unload with infinte bullets. It doesn't help the fact that it crashes constantly, that might be a me problem but a problem nevertheless.

In conclusion, game sux.

Game sucks.

This game is Max Payne on steroids.
Fun game.

Honestly this game is up and down for me, I mean yeah the community is pretty aids if you ask me and anyone else. But what I do know is this game needs a rework and step the ♥♥♥♥ back on its updates because seeing all the reviews and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and moaning about the recent crimefest just baffles me. Yes Almir ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up terrably. Yes the team skin bonus thing is retarted. Yes the skins look like something from the CS:GO community skins. But can people just play the game for what it is and not leave because of one OPTIONAL update. But yes buy the game, just don't buy the skins and you'll have a nice experience with overpowered pistols and running Sam Fishers comon for da booty.
