It's a really fun game, I see now why everyone was praising it. It is pretty much just Vampire Survivors but 3D, as generally everyone says.

However, I find Megabonk to be much more enjoyable, though. I couldn't really get into Vampire Survivors.

Experimenting with different builds is really fun, I'm trying to unlock Vlad soon! He seems cool.

Also, I thought Ogre sounded boring, but he's actually really fun! Give him a try if you're having doubts like I was. I also really like the idea of the Ninja, but he's quite hard... In any case, my favorite character so far is CL4NK/Calcium-- I can't pick between the two.

Overall, Megabonk is a super cheap game, and has theoretically endless playtime! Give it a try, you won't regret it; unless you just don't like these kinds of games. I really hope they release some DLCs with more stages and characters, I'm sure they will. :3

Well, I'm only 11 hours in; but so far this game is a very solid and charming RPG, heavily inspired by Gothic. It's got some hefty jank to it, but it makes it all the more charming. I really love me some good janky games.

In all seriousness, it's a very good RPG from what I've played so far. It would be cool if you could create your character, but I don't mind -- Tristan is a pretty funny dude. Although, he looks both 58 and 17 years old simultaneously.

Give it a try, it's cheap and you could always refund it if you're not feeling it.

Definitely the best Battlefield since Bad Company 2.

But none have been as good as Battlefield 1942. I really miss the naval combat; I can only hope they'll add it to Battlefield 6 one day.

I was cautiously optimistic for this title when it was announced, but it didn't disappoint at all. It had me tearing up, phenomenal work from Hangar 13! I have a feeling Mafia: The Old Country will go on to be a very underrated gem, similar to Sleeping Dogs. I just wish it was longer!

The only complaint I have was that I had quite a few crashes, but it wasn't unplayable by any means.

I was really hoping to have a mission or two in America, though!

Not gonna be touching this game until the censorship has a toggle or is removed.

Very unique game, feels good to play. I was cautiously optimistic when it was announced but pleasantly surprised having played it.

Definitely would love more characters though!

As someone who is extremely harsh of modern Bethesda, I'm very cautious of anything involving their old work -- but this did not disappoint. However, there's a few changes that did not need to happen. I will say, this title is one of my contenders for best Remaster. The first day I played this, it felt surreal. I couldn't shake the feeling I was dreaming, I just couldn't believe such a thing exists.

Pros
• It is simply gorgeous. The world is beautiful, Cyrodiil has always been a lush and colorful land; and now, with better textures and lighting, it's even more beautiful. The effects on Magic has been overhauled and improved immensely.
• Character creation has also improved immensely. Unfortunately, NPCs do not make use of this and are very hideous for the most part. My Argonian looks like a goddess compared to the common folk.
• Some aspects of the UI have been improved greatly, especially for QoL. The best example I have is the Alchemy UI, being able to filter ingredients' effects easily is a very welcome change.
• The monsters look great, from Trolls, Daedra, to Wolves, they're all updated and looking much prettier. Though, the Rats are weird. Why is their fur so well-maintained and soft? They're so fluffy. It's like they get regularly bathed and groomed.
• Some new voice acting.
• It still feels like Oblivion!
• The optimization is surprisingly good for a game coming out these days.
It includes all sorts of modern options, framerate unlocker, DLSS, and plenty of settings accessible right through the UI. No .ini tweaking necessary for that!

Specs: i7-13700k, RTX 4070 TI, 64GB RAM.
Cons
• Leveling up has been changed, it's just a stat distribution now. Not a fan at all.
• The combat feels... better? Worse? I really can't decide. Magic is definitely better, but melee weapons feel stiff.[?] The combos are cool though.
• Everything is extremely steep.
• Some of the animations: walking/running, sprinting especially looks extremely uncomfortable and weird. Very unnatural.
• Some new voice acting.
• No photo mode for a game of such beauty is a crime. Yes, you can still use console commands such as tm and tfc, but even they disable achievements by default. There is already a mod to fix this, it's just a bummer photo mode isn't a new feature here.
• The UI is huge, and with no option to make it smaller, it's quite unpleasant. It's clearly designed with console players playing further away on a big TV in mind.

Overall, I think they did very well. (8/10). I just wish they didn't touch the leveling system. It was fine the way it was.

I hope they also remaster Morrowind, but I must admit I'm terrified they're going to change far too much. Like the leveling system, again, which was identical to the original Oblivion for the most part. And gods, they'll probably change combat too. Look, I get Morrowind's combat is weird, but it's fine if you distribute your stats properly. It's a quirk of old RPG design, I really don't want to see it changed; but I understand if they do. And I don't know how they'd change the dialogue, since it's topic based. Also, I'm of the opinion that Morrowind had the best UI out of all the Elder Scrolls titles, being able to manipulate the size of the windows for the inventory/map/magic was incredible, it's a very modular and unique UI. For the love of Azura, do not change that.

It's novel.

It is pretty, though I think the flame effects look a bit blown out and gross, honestly.
Obviously it runs pretty horrible, with an astounding ~55 fps on a 4070 TI, i7-13700k.
The amount of space required for 2 levels is quite concerning... (~40gb), but I guess that's to be expected with such texture upgrades.

NVIDIA Remix is a pretty cool idea. But I think there's much better titles that could make use of it, though. Morrowind, for example. It's already a gorgeous game but I think it would look even more beautiful with new lighting and enhanced textures. (Obviously, you can do this with mods already, but it could still be interesting...)
