The first boss fight is AWESOME AF

Stupid Patch 1 — they nerfed everything and some flat stats.
The game wasn't even that easy before, and now they've nerfed all our builds, even the ones that weren't OP at all like reaching 100% crit was already hard enough, but they just cut the crit stat in half on enchantments. How stupid is that? Worst devs ever — don't buy this game.

There are already so many games that nerf the META (even when it wasn't that OP) and then label it as 'balance' changes. It's a really bad practice in the game industry.

Why would they only nerf things instead of buffing other builds to increase gameplay diversity?

In the latest patch, they just nerfed everything and gave ZERO buffs.

Combat is solid—quite easy, fun perfect counters. Economy generous, nearly no grinding.
Music unremarkable. Most scenes: ruins + empty BGM.

I'd say Absolum is the Game of the Year—with Silksong a close second.
Start weak, as you progress, you grow stronger. Don't give up.
The combat is utterly flawless. 10/10

It's feeling a bit repetitive and dull for me, the builds just aren't varied enough
