Well-made Portal 2 mod with a third "time portal", allowing travel between two points in time. While the time travel rules are very simple, they do provide additional challenge to puzzle solving, and you really need to think how to solve the chambers in a new way.

The original Dishonored is, by far, one of my most memorable single-player experiences ever. I loved it. With Dishonored 2, you can see it's the same game, same world, but different time and different city.

The gameplay is improved, and there is more variety in how you approach each level. Non-lethal combat is much more viable now compared the original, so you are not forced to be both non-lethal and stealthy, you can be either, neither or both. Powers are a bit more interesting. If you play as Emily, you have a set of new powers, which have familiarity with Corvo's powers, but they have differences. Corvo's powers are slightly altered as well. For example, Blink can now be upgraded to stop time, just like Daud's ability in the original. The game also has a level that replaces all of your powers with just the ability to switch between two points of time in history, which had me in awe. Just for this one level, you had to completely change your way of playing the game, which was refreshing.

The game looks beautiful. It's art style is somewhat different from the original, looking more realistic this time but still having it's own distinct style. The world is also more colorful, but this is also partly explained by the setting, as Karnaca is a southern city. There is clearly improvement in graphics quality, but honestly, I wouldn't mind if they had kept closer to the original style.
Arkane switched from Unreal Engine to Void Engine, an Id Tech 5 based engine. Something must've happened in this change, since the performance of Dishonored 2 was not very good. The engine is likely not the problem, as something like the new Wolfenstein games run just fine. Perhaps there was just overall lack of optimization. Either way, keep that in mind before you buy.

The story is... kind of mediocre. In the original game, Dunwall was in a state of despair, already the right setting for the betrayal and treachery that happened throughout the game, and even contained some good plot twists. Dishonored 2 is kind of the same formula, except the initial setting feels weird. Delilah appears and performs a coup, because she feels the crown is rightfully hers. This I can understand. But she leaves Dunwall to ruin because.. why? And everyone followed the lead of a Duke of another city and a witch because... why? And it also feels like there isn't much personal reasons for Emily (or Corvo) to take the violent path of regaining the throne. Perhaps if Corvo had died at the beginning of the game, there would be more emotional investment to deciding whether you want peace in the empire, or just blood.

In short, it's a good sequel to a really good original, and it even one-upped the original in some aspects, like gameplay.

An FPS where, instead of running and gunning, you can stop and think about your next move. Like you're carefully crafting a scene for an action movie. The story is also quite weird, but entertaining, and the graphics are simple but pleasant to look at. And the DOS-style menu UI is a nice touch too.

There's not much bad to say about the game, other than it feels short. But there are tons of challenges to do within the same levels so that adds more gameplay.

This just about gets to the recommended side.

The game is great. It's the Just Cause you know and love, but better in many ways. Rebel Drop allows you to get any unlocked vehicle and weapon you want, anywhere. The destructible objects in this game are a blast, and using the new tether features can yield a hundred different ways to destroy a military base. Take a jet and bomb the whole place, get in a tank and go on a rampage, or just tether and retract things together to make them go boom. Your choice.
The new wingsuit quickly became my favourite way to travel in the game. Completely taking over territories and rebels having their own marked vehicles and troops makes the world feel like it's actually in the midst of a revolution. There aren't as much villages and destructibles as in Just Cause 2, but there is more detail and variety. Same goes for the world as a whole. Medici is beautiful.

Now for the bad stuff. First of all, the recommended specs in the store page are lying. 8GB had my game crash within 5 minutes of playing it because of running out of memory. 16GB works fine. There are bugs that have been left unfixed for over a year, and the game occasionally crashes or stops loading resources from disk, despite having plenty of memory available. A lot of people have been complaining about overall poor performance with systems that should be able to run the game. The controls are a little clunky, at least for keyboard and mouse.
I would've liked some more balance to the enemies, since with a carpet bombing jet you can easily take over any military base or guard post as long as you dodge SAM missiles, which is easy with a jet. Perhaps enemy jets AI was too difficult to implement? Also, the Black Hand mercenaries are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bullet sponges and boat machine guns are aimbots. Hear the radio announce boats incoming and you have under 10 seconds to find cover.

All in all, if you have a computer that can run the game, and you love some Just Cause, I definitely recommend this.

I got this on release date, and the first thing I have to say is the performance sucked then. But after patches, it is at least playable. Still, it contains clear traces of a bad PC port.

Gameplay was good. Can't say much for combat, since I didn't fire a single shot. But I'd reckon it wouldn't be so fancy with a low framerate and inaccurate mouse sensitivity. But stealth was good, I'd say better than HR. Things like being able to takedown enemies from cover should've been on the first game already. The new augmentations give you even more options on how to traverse the world.

The story was good, but not as good as HR. Also I miss the philosophical Jensen at the end of the game. The ending also happened quite abruptly, and dialogue animations are even more awkward than in HR, which is quite an achievement.

All in all, if you've played HR, I do recommend playing this. Don't expect anything groundbreaking though.

A fun FPS game with a good cover system. Feels very dynamic. The suprising thing about this game was the story. It was good. I didn't expect it to be good. However, the ending could've told more about what happened after the final battle. I also like the alternate history setting very much.
If you are intrigued by FPS combat, nazis, shooting nazis on earth, shooting nazis on the moon, shooting nazis with laser weapons and shooting other things, such as explosive objects near nazis and nazi-controlled robots, I recommend this game.

Ever had moments where you hope you could go back in time and, undo, something? Or do something that you think should have been done?

Well, this point and click adventure explores that idea, quite extensively. The idea sounds cliché at first, like this is some high school drama where you can use superpowers to beat everyone who is mean to you. But it's more than that, it goes much further down the rabbit hole.

Not only is the game great story-wise, but it also has more interactivity than just dialogue choices. You can rewind time and perform actions that you could not do before, due to acquiring knowledge about what is going to happen. Doing this kind of thing in i.e. a movie would be pretty confusing, right? But in the game, it being a game mechanic, it kind of made sense, in its own way.

So, in my opinion, this game is amazing. But opinions are subjective, so I can't say if you would feel the same. If you have played Telltale games previously, I suggest you try this out. I do hope Dontnod does more of these kind of adventures.

A great mod for Portal 2, has a good storyline, good soundtrack and challenging puzzles. Very professional work, and it's free. If you like portal, you'll like this too.

You're probably going to buy this game regardless of any reviews, or have already done so.

But I would warn you that the game requires memory, both VRAM and RAM. For me, it uses about 5 gigs of RAM and around 1.7 gigs of VRAM, so make sure you have plenty of memory and a good video card. If you have an old processor, like I have an old AMD one, you won't be experiencing butter smooth 60 fps gameplay. Regardless, the game is still playable, the framerate is still rather stable, even if low at times. It's much better optimized than GTA4, that's for sure.

So singleplayer works rather well, what about multiplayer? Not so well. Long loading times, bugs, exploitable glitches, hacking.. to be honest, the networking in GTA Online is horrendous when considering the game's budget. Did you like to play with mods in GTA4 multiplayer? Well, GTA Online has all kinds of stats and money that is universal, so mods are prohibited altogether, to prevent cheating this system. Because the client program, the game itself, has all authority on your online stats, Rockstar cannot trust you to inject any kind of code into it. This is the laziest and cheapest possible networking design.. in a game that has the largest development budget in history.
Don't get me wrong, GTA online is fun at times, but Rockstar should fix their ♥♥♥♥.
