Having spent 2 hours on this game trying (key word being "trying") get get an A rank in every fight, I can safely say that this game has my blessing! The art design is fantastic and original, just like the story, and the music was exhilarating, yet very fitting for the fantasy setting. There were plenty of times during my playthrough that I was bouncing my head to keep rhythm, while also trying to concentrate 100% on hitting the right notes! All and all, it's free, so there's really no excuse not to play. That being said, I will definitely be buying the full game when it comes out!

Great fun, good way to spend an hour.
Achievements aren't impossible to get (unlike other games) and the art style is nice looking.

My main issue is with certain things, like spinning dials, but not enough to stop me from giving this a good review!

IT'S THE MOST INNOVATIVE SHOOTER I'VE PLAYED IN YEARS

The plot of this game is what really makes it the game that it is. Sure, speedrunning is fun, but for a speedrunning game to have as great of a plot as this takes dedication, style and investment.

The game follows the emotional journey of Marty, a metal loving middle aged man, who's pride and joy was taken away from him. In a swift act of revenge Marty must travel to hell and back to save that which he loves so dearly.

This game is the epitome of art.

Pros:

• Great level design.
  
• Soundtrack is fantastic.
  
• Fourth Wall breaking in voice lines. Always a sign of a great game.

Cons:

• Some beer locations are really weird. (e.gPyramid has a secret rotating point, for some reason?)
  
• Invisible platforms in some levels that only appear once you've triggered other ones.
  
• Difficult to get uber skulls in some levels without a guide.

All in all, memes aside, great game.
