Obwohl ich diese Spielereihe wirklich liebe, scheinen die Entwickler*innen im neuesten Update verheerende Bugs eingeführt zu haben, die unter anderem vorhandene Savegames zerstören könnten. Hintergrund ist wahrscheinlich die ungeprüfte nutzung von KI-generiertem Code. Im aktuellen Zustand würde ich vom Spielen absehen, bis die Bugs behoben oder das Update zurückgenommen wurde. Die Gefahr eines Datenverlustes ist zu hoch.

How exactly is this game "Steam Deck Verified"? There are several issues which keep you from actually playing the game in co-op and single player.

- Crashes: The game keeps crashing on random occasions. Doesn't matter if it's right after starting the game, when trying to get into a lobby, choosing a chapter to play, when returning from the lobby back to the main menu or when entering an actual session. Crashes are non-reproducible but happen basically every time you try to play. This happens on non-official Linux platforms and Proton versions as well, but especially on the "verified" Valve Proton 10.0.
- Controller compatibility: Sometimes the controller just randomly stops working ingame. You can't enter passwords for lobbies, or exit the text field. It works sometimes, but again, non-reproducible.
- Performance: Atrocious, even on potato settings. This comes down to the Deck being weak in itself, but the game really doesn't seem to be optimised at all. Sitting in front of a loading screen for 30 seconds, not knowing if the game crashes or not is a regular part of my experience.

All in all: This game is definitely NOT deserving its "verified" status on the Steam Deck.

No matter how awful you feel this game is going to make everything better by just being completely effortless and entertaining to play
