This game is for those who want to play RTS games but don't feel like they can control their forces fast and precise enough.

Deploy your army in an attempt to predict an opponent's move. After each battle round you have evolved and expanded your army in a way that satisfies your vision. Whether by adding more troops, giving your forces new abilities, or just making the troops stronger, it's your choice to make. And also chances to take and use battlefield power that can really swing a round.

Each game has set random modifiers that keep it from feeling stale and repetitive as you adapt to changes in power that bin given out. And you don't have to worry because your opponent will be given the same choices as you so you are on an even playing field so only your and your opponent's decisions will affect the outcome. And if a unit you have dose not work as you want, you can pivot away from it or you can boost it with bigger numbers or new powers so it does feel relevant again.
And between games you can also change your troops to play more the way you want them to by changing the uppgrade powers they have assigned to them.

One of the few really bad things about the game is that the UI is a little busy and hard to navigate. And the selection of maps is quite narrow.

tldr: Boring game

It is decent strategy game but it is not near as good as Supreme Commander. To be fair it's a techdemo. All units are same hover tank that comes in 3 diffrent sizes with limited weapon diffrance. And story in the campaign is so dull that I quit it few mission in. I hope AotS 2 is far better game.

Old school tycoon done well. If you like manegment games then this is a must buy. Then you can just start the contruction of your own little hell hole of a prison or be good warden that do all he can for his prisoners. Play the minigame and try to escape prisons from the workshop.

Really good 4X game that mostly hit the points. The AI in the game is not the greatest but somewhat works as long you don't fight it on the battlefield. AI frequently put range troops in first line of defense instead of melee. So AI is it weakest point but it's better then nothing. The combat system works really good. All units feels there have some use. and there few units that is out of place.

Base game leaves a lot too wish for but is newbie friendly. Gods and Kings fill in some holes but makes the game more complex. Brave new World fills in many of game holes and make it even more complex.

Game is good but wait for 50-75% off before buying, it's happen often. It's is too many bugs in the game still there. Don't expect to play it whits other then friends, full match takes 8-18h depending on map and play style.

Fun short game that have great music. No real depth in the gameplay but non the less a really good one. Lots of mods too make game feal little diffrent. So have look for it on something boundle or a sale.
