Early Access Review
Game still runs terribly over 2 years after the early access release. In fact, I'm sure that the game runs exactly the same as it did day one. I'm not even going to bother criticizing the gameplay if I can't even play the game. And for the people who think that < 30 FPS on low settings with n64 resolution is playable on even the most average gaming rig (4 core @ 3ghz/gtx 970), you are stupid. Plain and simple.

Runs like hot garbage on my i5 2500k and gtx 770. Sensitivity (mouse AND controller) are tied to framerate, very inconsistent. Wait for either a few patches, or sales.

Ground Zeroes is undoubtedly a short game - don't let this turn you off from the game itself. The game is very replayable giving the player many approaches to completing missions in any fashion you want to. Stealth mode? Engage. Gun them all down? Let's go. Shoot stun gun darts into everyone's buttox? Feel free to do so, butt you may run out of ammo unfortunately.
Metal Gear Solid has historically set the standard for stealth and difficulty, and Ground Zeroes does establish this difficulty on HARD mode. Normal mode will be a doozie for those new to the series, but when you approach everything more cautiously and begin to think about your next move, it gets more interesting. GZ Features a few different routes to take and along those routes are optional assets you can utilize. I won't spoil what, but there are some pretty cool dynamics.

Enough about the game, and onto the port itself.
+ Runs great on an i5 2500k @ 3.3ghz / gtx 770 (playing at 4K with screen filtering disabled I was able to get around 45+ FPS, at 1080p it was a solid 60 while being superior to the PS4 version)
+ Rebindable Controls
+ Looks great even at low settings
+ Good mouse input, no noticeable Mouse-acceleration or oddities other than smoothing
+ Apparently runs well on lower end hardware

~ UI is odd at times, e.g Main Menu with no ability to guide the mouse. Instead, you have to use WASD or arrow keys to navigate, or a gamepad if you have one plugged in.
~ Small, but still a neat little feautre: No custom track imports to the game like the X360/PS3 versions (Note, Xbone and PS4 also are missing this feature)

- Cannot rebind gamepad controls, no Playstation Icons if using a PS-family pad
- No audio slider (Really, Bruh?)
- 60 frames per second cap

Solid 8/10 in my opinion, however, for those on the fence, wait to buy the game when it goes on sale for $5 or any other insanely low price that Steam offers. Very replayable game, and is a good entry to the MGS series. Great for newbies, too.
