《六祖坛经》
人的心胸度量之广大，就像虚空一样，没有边际，也没有方圆大小，既不是青黄红白，也没有上下长短，没有恼怒没有欢喜，没有是也没有非，没有善也没有恶，没有头也没有尾，诸佛所在的净土就像虚空一样无所不在。世人的灵妙本性本来就是空，并没有一种法则可以得到。

善知识们，世界本身是虚空的，这才能包含万物万象，日月星宿，山河大地，泉源溪涧，草木丛林，恶人善人，恶法善法，天堂地狱，一切大海大洋，众多的须弥山，都在这虚空之中，世人的本性虚空，也像这个样子。善知识们，自己的本性中能包含万种佛法，这就是大，万种佛法就在每个人的本性中。

如果我们看到一切人的或善或恶，都既不接近也不舍弃，也不受沾染和影响，心保持虚空，这就可称为大，也就是摩诃。善知识们，迷惑的人只用嘴说，智慧的人用心体会。还有一种迷惑的人，心中只执著于空而枯寂静坐，一点也不用心思考，还自称为大。像这样的人，不必和他们谈讲，因为他们的见识是偏邪的。

《The Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch》

The mind of a person is as vast as the void, without boundaries, without size, neither blue, yellow, red, or white, without up or down, without anger or joy, without right or wrong, without good or evil, without beginning or end. The Pure Land where the Buddhas reside is omnipresent like the void. The wonderful nature of the world is originally empty, and there is no law to obtain it.

Good friends, the world itself is empty, which can contain all things, the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the rivers, the earth, the springs and streams, the grass and trees, the evil people and the good people, the evil laws and the good laws, the heavens and the hells, all the seas and oceans, and the numerous Mount Sumerus, are all in this void. The nature of the world is empty, and it is also like this. Good friends, one's own nature can contain thousands of Dharmas, which is great, and thousands of Dharmas are in everyone's nature.

If we see all people, whether good or evil, neither approach nor abandon, nor are we contaminated or affected, and the mind remains empty, this can be called great, which is also Maha. Good friends, confused people only talk with their mouths, while wise people experience with their hearts. There is another kind of confused people who only cling to emptiness in their hearts and sit in silence, without thinking at all, and still call themselves great. There is no need to talk to such people, because their views are biased.


《道德经》第八章

上善若水。水善利万物而不争，处众人之所恶，故几于道。居善地，心善渊，与

善仁，言善信，正善治，事善能，动善时。夫唯不争，故无尤。

《Tao Te Ching》 Chapter 8

The best state is like water. Water is good at nourishing all things without competing with them, and stays in places that no one likes, so it is closest to "Tao".
The best people are good at choosing the best place to live, their minds are good at keeping calm and unfathomable, they are good at being sincere, friendly and selfless to others, they are good at keeping their word, they are good at being concise in politics, they can govern the country well, they are good at giving full play to their strengths in dealing with things, and they are good at seizing opportunities in their actions. The best people do not make mistakes or complain because they have the virtue of not competing.

A Drinking Story

The jade liquor melts in my mouth, and I watch the sea in a dream.
Mud forest is covered with dead sounds, and birds of prey are hovering in the mist.
Grass leaves are burnt to ashes, and the cicadas are chirping through the window.
Mind is unclear, but the soul and body are still there.


当月七日往珠峰下

巍石陡峙三千丈，空无碧绿立漠南。
日色曈曚有几度，旧今山川匪流传。

On the seventh day of that month, I went to the foot of Mount Everest.

The towering rocks stood three thousand feet high, and the green desert stood in the sky.
Sun was dim for several degrees, but the old and new mountains and rivers were not passed down.


十月二十一夜居江滩桥下

长行山川八千里，夜居深秋江桥下。
孤翔野径遍五岭，独驾寒风冲阳峡。
官道寞途往四方，零落他乡陌客残。
红枫尽缀三山里，寂寥雨下怀梦寒。

I traveled eight thousand miles through the mountains and rivers, and stayed under the bridge on the river in late autumn.
Flew alone on the wild paths across the Five Ridges, and drove alone in the cold wind through the valley with sunset.
The official road was lonely and led to all directions, strangers in the foreign land were scattered.
Red maples were all over the three mountains, the lonely rain made me dream coldly.
