The game is amazing. The performance is unexpectedly good. It runs perfectly on Linux.

But their vague AI usage statement makes this a very mixed thumbs up.

I'm probably gonna finish this game anyway, but for a game thats supposed to be about free exploration and discovery and not supposed to hold your hand it sure keeps grabbing my hand and going "no, you can't go there unless you do the exact thing we planned for you to do first" repeatedly.

Developers suddenly disabled EAC for Linux for this playtest, making the game unplayable.

First of all it runs great on proton out of the box for all game modes.

The game is great fun. The feeling of scale you get is amazing. Fighting 9999 tyranids at the same time is glorious.

They have started the slow decline into becoming an ad-platform.

It might be fun for a while, but whats the point when it is gonna become immersion-breaking reference city?

Performance is excellent, game is fun, some weird steaminput problems with DS5 solved by using external software instead.

I really liked this game.
Adding some unknown DRM to it years after release is an insult to people who paid for it.
