A well worth experience. The ambient and setting is one of my favorites I've ever got to be part of, the voice acting is captivating and the story, although confusing at times, is incredible. Left me a weird sense of comfort, but also emptiness inside knowing how it leaves off.

Definitely worth picking up if on sale, it holds up surprisingly well for a game of 8 years ago.

seen this game being recommended everywhere, decided to just buy it and go in blind without even knowing what it was about: absolutely worth it. I can definitely understand why people say "just get it and play it", because there's really not much to talk about but rather to experience it yourself and DEFINITELY go in without looking anything about it, its one of those games.

there's no reason to go over the pros because it's already been talked about in other reviews, altough I will say YOU WILL STRUGGLE AND POSSIBLY GET FRUSTRATED over some aspects of the gameplay and puzzles, but please DO NOT make my same mistake and look up online for hints or straight up solutions if you're stuck somewhere, KEEP EXPLORING and the answer will surely reveal itself.
(except for that puzzle , I would've never figured it out myself and people who played the game probably know what I'm talking about)

I do think this game isn't for everyone, but if you won't have major issues with its controls (they can be challenging at first, the game recommends a controller and for a good reason) and gameplay loop, you'll be amazed the whole time.

I personally enjoy this game a lot, I've started playing since early access and got struck by it's art style and overall aesthetic; out of everything it's definitely the most appealing part of the whole product. The whole concept is extremely cool to me and I loved every aspect and detail put into each enemy design, which fits their respective theme based on what sin they belong to. That being said, I must say I'm kinda disappointed by the game's full release. From what I remember nothing major was added, other than 1 new character and the remaining 3 (or 2, can't remember) enemy types left. It feels lackluster, unfinished and unpolished, as other people mentioned aswell: bugged animations, description of cards/perks not showing up at all, and even some mechanics not working properly. The game also seems way too short from what it could possibly achieve, I really hope it will eventually get some fresh new major content with further updates. As of right now, I can't really recommend getting this at it's full price, but I'd say it's totally worth to give it a try if on sale. I had a lot of fun all the 25 hours I've played, but after that there's literally nothing else you can do. Overall an amazing concept unfortunately ruined by lack of content, but still worth a shot.
