I have played some Ubisoft games before, namely the last two Ghost Recons and Far Cry 5. And while Ubisoft does not make good games, they usually do not make bad games either, just average. But this game is a massive let down. You never get to fight anything, for there are only like five enemies in any given base. There is only one mission so far in my 16,5 hour playthrough that I would even consider a mission. It was the Stranger Things side mission. Every other mission is a joke.

I don't know how game studios can or even bother making so large maps and then there is nothing in them. Bases have watch towers and machine guns to defend them. Nobody ever mans those stations. Maybe I am remembering Far Cry 5 incorrectly, but while the game was not anything special, you got at least some good action once in a while. There has not been a gunfight here that has lasted more than a minute.

It also feels like whoever decided on the keybinds for this game has never played a shooter, at least on a mouse and keyboard. Almost every bind is just stupid and you have to change them yourself to fit other games.

I paid 15 euros for this game, and even that feels like too much. I didn't think that Ubisoft could produce a disappointment since I though I knew their quality, but here we are.

They actually did it! A game that was in early access for four years has been released. Its not perfect, some bugs exist, at least in multiplayer, but its pretty good and not early access anymore.
